There was no staff available to help. I left my very nice jacket in one of the closets and in spite of constantly trying to reach someone I was not successful in getting my jacket back. I sent messages and called but no one was there to help. This really was very concerning because if you can’t reach a real person to help if needed then it makes this property less desirable . I wish that the property management would look into hiring some help that would actually respond to the visitors concerns but there was absolutely no one to talk to.

As many other reviewers already said, the wooden floor makes a lot of noice and there is no proper isolation between rooms so you can hear your neighbors. There is no elevator so it can be challenging to pass the steep stairs if you have big luggage like we did. The door from the bathroom was not functioning well, it was challenging to keep it closed

Location was good, there was a bus stop right below the apartment . The apartment was clean. Even though the contactless check in was a bit weird (with a key in the envelope below) it worked fine for us.

The shower attachment didnt hold the shower up and the hose is bent so you have to hold it too shower. Also the two lights by the bed work but don’t stay put so they need to be wedged on the side - not great but easily fixed I’m sure.

Its location was great. The fact there was a lounge/kitchen too was an added bonus. We asked for a couple of things and got them quickly - very good service. Also loved the pub being shut for 2 days.

I got the whole package I needed, I'm totally satisfied with my residence at your hotel. However, the only downside was the wooden floor, which was extremely noisy when stepped on.

The pillows were so flat and the mattress was soft. We messaged the owner several times for more pillows but we didn’t get any. We didn’t even see the owner at all. We were not given a free bus pass which we apparently should have received. I messaged about that too but still didn’t get given one. Very squeaky floorboards.

We loved the location of the hotel. So handy with bus stops outside and only a 15 min walk into the centre of Interlaken. Cosy room.

It seems old and not renovated, as anyone walking upstairs was very annoying and loud. The bathroom was too small and the shower was not in a good state.

Location was good, and the self check-in was smooth. Basic amenities such as kettle for tea/coffee, hair dryer and toiletries were available.

our room is 3rd floor and there is no lift, small stairs to bring up big luggage, cooking and eating is on the 2nd floor, not much appliances, so can't really cook even basic meal like hot soup or noodles. Can't check in early as your key will not be there until check in time.

We were given a big room, it's just in front of the bus stops and you can take the 2 different bus to either of the train station. a place to eat and simple cooking, the check in is self service.

Nice place close to town center and getaway to the outdoor activities. Friendly room maids keeping rooms and accommodation tidy. Across the road was a bakery and on the ground floor an Irish pub which served good food as well. Check-in using WhatsApp worked good, local booking.com operator responded if I had a question.

More of a hostel than a hotel. Gaining initial access was challenging. Once your in and have the key your OK. The whole "we'll leave an envelope outside the front door with your name on it" bit was nil existent. Fridge in communal kitchen area so be warned.

Pub with good food and beer underneath. 15min walk to the centre of town. Buses stop right outside. Easy commute to Grindelwald.

Consistent with what others have mentioned, the landlord never responds to messages. The wifi signal in the room is very poor.

The location is good, next to the bus station. We were unable to check in a little bit early when we arrived at around 2:30 PM. Fortunately, we met the cleaning lady who kindly permitted us to store our luggage in the kitchen and also provided us with the guest card.

A little bit far from city center.

I appreciated having a parking spot available. Other parking was nearby. The room had a nice view. The furnishings were basic but adequate. Room was spacious. The bar/restaurant below the hotel was excellent. The outside seating area was nice to have. Close to restaurants, grocery store and laundry. Check in and check out were easy. For check in there is an envelope on the front door with your name on it. Inside there is a blue fob to get in the front door and a sheet of paper with a lock box number and a number code to open the box located to the left a foot or so around the corner. Inside the box is your room key. Easy. Cleaning staff were friendly.

The facilities are a bit older, creaky floors and thin walls but not something we tend to mind when we are passing through.

Good location for the price of the hotel, about a 20 minute walk to the main strip and easy access to the train stations in Interlaken.

The location is great but this is more like a self-check in hotel with just a cleaning staff who does your room everyday. Did not receive the Interlaken guest card, the microwave in the common room was old and not working properly. The wooden floor kept making noise as we walked. Overall it’s an okayish place to stay for 1-2 nights.

The stair was very narrow and no lift, we are lucky that we stay at level 2, not level 3 or higher than that!!!

The Pantry area. We buy the bread from the bakery shop just right 15 meters away and have our hometown coffee at level 2 open area to enjoys the scene, the view and people passing by.
