My host was very friendly and helpful. He let me move into my apartment at 9 in the morning, gave me an excellent street map and circled all the places of interest, where to buy food or find a taxi. The hotel feels very safe It is located 5 minutes away from restaurants, bars and open air markets.

The walls are not the thickest, so you can hear people moving chairs in the apartment above or clanging with dishes in the morning. Not the best if you are a night owl.

The owner is really nice, and gave us a lot of tips about where to go in the city. Good location, not in the center but close to everything - quite a gem for the price.

Very cool, stylish rooms, well equipped, with bathroom and kitchenette, ideal for a longer stay. The owner extremely friendly and helpful, willing to point out any attractions in the city and places worth visiting. Comarca is a very safe place to stay, close to beautiful viewpoints, rooms have terraces or verandas, I highly recommend staying here. The internet worked great!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment, it was spacious and fulfilled all the needs. The location is great, walking distance to the beautiful Valparaiso hills and it feels very secure. Hernán was very helpful and friendly.

We liked everything. If you need a place to stay and are ok with something simple and close to the action, this place is perfect. What was most important is that we had a place to sleep and a safe place to park.

We loved the location, it is right next to the central area and all the action is a 5 min walk away. Very convenient! The host was also extremely friendly and helpful! Best host we've had in a long time, he was very attentive and was there for us anytime we had questions. The apartment was simple, but with everything you needed like an electric kettle, stove, fridge, plates, utensils, safe parking etc. We will 100% be staying here when we return.

The owner messaged us asking for 50% payment via bank transfer a few days before we arrived but there's no mention of payment by bank transfer in the booking on the app. In the end, we were able to pay in cash but we were told this was an exception – something to keep in mind if you're an international traveller. The furniture and some furnishings have seen better days – it's a bit old and tatty in places. The kitchen could do with a few additional utensils and pots, especially a sharp knife.

Great location within walking distance of bars, restaurants, a supermarket and the main plaza. Plenty of space for two people with a comfortable bed. Herman the host was here to welcome us and provide us with tips on what to see and do in the city, and how to get about. Excellent value for money given the size, comfort and location.

It’s very noisy, while I was there, the people next door were very loud. Also you can hear the dogs barking all the time, but that’s not on the hands of the people managing the place.

The bed was really comfy, we slept very well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The apartment is a little dated and needs some TLC and extra cleaning. Good if you are on a budget. Good location walking distance to all main sights.

Our room/apartment felt rather dirty with hair in the sink, shower etc. The kitchen is unusable. Generally our apartment (maybe the others are different) was just not a nice space at all.

The location was very central, yet on a quiet street which was great. The manager is very nice and helpful. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.

- While all started well, the owner did a 180 and became really angry at me over a miscommunication in check-out time .. started yelling that he had not said a late check out was OK (after saying it was the night before) - causing a lot of stress at the last minute and ruining an otherwise enjoyable stay :( -WiFi doesn’t work. Owner restarted router but this only fixed for 10 mins, had to use hotspot for rest of stay.

Because of the previous reviews we expected a clean apartment. The entire apartment was not clean, but dirty musty and a bit damp. About handles in the kitchen that you did not want to touch, burn holes in the tablecloth, to snot noses from food on the kitchen furniture and bed frames, dirty curtains, dirty windows, a cotton swab from the previous owner on a wooden sideboard, dirty bedding and mold throughout the bathroom ( between all the tiles, on the tiles and on the ceiling). The landlord has several apartments in one house. We had the apartment downstairs on the left. Maybe we were just unlucky.

The landlord was very nice. He even let us into the apartment much earlier than actually intended. The location of the apartment was fine. We did not expect modern facilities, we did not get them. That's ok
