the only negative i can say is that the hotel itself didn't have a bar or a restaurant, but with so many places to go a few feet away, it didn't bother us.

the location is unbeatable, right in the center of cartagena on a bustling street. it's down the block from popular bars like La Jugada and Alquimo and within walking distance of all the best restaurants like Carmen and Alma. the house itself is BEAUTIFUL. a colonial mansion converted into a hotel with different sitting areas, living rooms, and all sorts of nooks with couches and chairs to hang out. the rooftop pool was amazing, the water was the perfect temp and they can bring you snacks and cocktails if you ring the bell for service. the staff was also excellent. we were going to an island after checking out and they let me leave my luggage there overnight (even though we had already checked out) so that i didn't have to lug it all with me for a one night stay at Islas Rosario. DEF RECOMMEND!

As its Town center its noisy at night (hotel provides ear plugs). Mainly due to every car in cartagena seems to constantly honk its horn day and night but guess its the same all over old town. Despite this you walk through the door from a busy street into a calm beautiful hotel with amazingly friendly staff and elegant decor plus pool area.

Hotel reception staff were incredible. I was alone, very sick with a medical emergency, they called an English speaking doctor and paid for my taxi to the hospital & checked up on me through a nurse who was a friend and helped my family who had to come out to help me. They looked after my bags and did not charge for the room when I did not return from hospital

Excellent food at the complimentary breakfast and the hotel restaurant. Fantastic location right in the centre of Getsemani, but the rooms were nice and quiet and cool. Loved the rooftop pool and bar area, and the eclectic decor.

They charged extra for everything. We payed a 100 dollar for a night in Colombia, but had to pay extra to get a pancake or sausage for breakfast. Same with water in room, or even for a face mask we had to pay. Not the famous Colombian hospitality.

Too many stairs and a bit noisy at night because of the clubs and bars nearby. My room did not have street view so it was ok inside.

The house is beautiful and well taken care of, and the staff was THE BEST. Everyone was super helpful and kind. I was traveling with my 10 month old baby and they helped me with special food requirements even thought the hotel does not have restaurant service. Great location if you want to walk around the Ciudad amurallada.

The noisy street is hardly the hotel's fault...

There's a lot to like. The location is excellent even though the street can become quite busy. Our room was towards the street, but the isolation was great. The room had all the necessary amenities. The service was impeccable. The staff helped us with suggestions concerning things to do and see, and even some paper copies we needed for an administrative matter. Overall, professional and welcoming. There was no breakfast buffet, but one needs not to worry; there is enough (tasty) things on the menu. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool, and the extra plus is that the building itself is beautiful. All in all, a terrific place to stay.

The late night noise coming from the surrounding streets.

The house itself is very beautiful which facilitates everything. Location is perfect for El Centro. The staff is also attentive, especially Ruben who is very polite and serves you a delicious breakfast for a hard walking day on the streets of lovely Cartagena
