We stayed here a few nights across a week while exploring Santa marta area. Staff are SO helpful & friendly. Good location, good rooms, 100% recommend to anyone looking for a Santa Matt’s base

We had a private room with double bed that was just next to the main entrance of the hostel so we could hear everything that was happening at the reception. The noise didn't bother us too much but if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend to bring ear plugs.

Great hostel, very close to the center but also the market where you can find the main bus stop to Tayrona. The customer service at the hostel was amazing! They were very helpful. They also agreed to keep our bags when we went to Tayrona for 4 nights. The place was very clean. I highly recommend if you just need to sleep there a couple of nights on your way to Tayrona or Minca.

Prefer designated female dorm over mixed, it would be convenient to not be crowded in with some males who have messy habits. But understand attendance is hard to gage and it is easier to have mixed. Just a suggestion. :)

Exceptionally friendly, helpful and clean, cozy hostel. The staff go above and beyond for their guests. Suggested the best places to eat in the touristic area and helped me find a medical clinic and cell phone repair shop. Love the water service to fill up water bottle and breakfast is nice too.

Breakfast was disappointing. 12,000COP for scrambled eggs and white toast. Some fruit, mostly watermelon and no pineapple. Daughter didn’t like the eggs.

Santa Marta does not have a lot to offer and can be very hot. The rooms fortunately have AC

Lovely new hostel that perfectly accomodated our stop-over to Tayrona National Park with close vicinity to the Mercado (where the busses to Tayrona and Minca depart). They were even so friendly that we could hang out for an hour or so in their patio a few days later when we returned from Minca and had to wait for our bus transfer to Cartagena!

There are better locations in Santa Marta, closer to the beach and restaurants. That said, we loved the location as it’s close to the Minca bus and quieter at night.

The staff was so nice and accommodating. The hostel is clean and a great value. It is an easy walk to the bus to MInca. Definitely recommend.

One of the best places we stayed in our Colombia travel. Nice atmosphere, friendly and good English speaking local owner, nice quiet room with AC! Location is good: central but just 5 minutes away from busy nightlife. We loved it and will come back :))

Stuff was really nice and English speaking. It was helpful to get all the information about city and transits. Rooms are extremely clean, and AC was so good and no extra charge for it. I can fully recommend it. Safe place to stay

Everything! We stayed in a private room which was spacious and quiet, had AC, a comfortable bed, and everything was super clean. Great staff with very good English skills, too, and nice breakfast with different options

I realize you cannot change the location but the staff helped with hints on times and areas to remain safe.

The staff were exceptional and were both professional and personal. They make the place work really well along with all the other exceptionally kind workers there.

Nothing I didn’t like!

Great hostel, social common area, lockers in dorms, they store your bags for you when you explore the area free of charge, and let me have a shower and gave me a towel when I picked them up for 2 dollars! Very friendly staff, plus breaky is included! Good location near lots of places to eat and the buses to Minca, Tayrona etc

Showers could have more pressure (it’s more like a weak tap of water). Otherwise nothing really to complain!

Super friendly staff, helpful in any question. Rooms have good aircon and lockers, location is close to the city center and close to the colectivos to Minca. Lovely small breakfast and coffee!

Awesome location to go diving or to get to tayron park, it's right in the historical centre of Santa Marta. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff did everything to accommodate our needs. Awesome breakfast included.

It is a bit outside of the city centre so the streets are super quiet around and walking at night there didn’t feel very nice but very minor to be honest.

The staff was super friendly. There were so helpful and providing good tips. You could leave your big backpack for free while visiting the tayrona park. The location is gray: 10 min from the bahia and 5 min from the place to take the transport for Minca or Tayrona.

We had an amazing one night stay here. The host, Nora, was wonderful and so helpful. There is also a resident ginger cat who is so adorable. Comfy bed, air conditioning, tasty breakfast and good location close to the bus station to Minca. 10/10!

Two out of three showers had only drops coming out. Luckily the 3rd shower was always free when I wanted to use it.

Absolute top service! Staff were super helpful. Wether information on things to do in or around Santa Marta, laundry, luggage storage or helping with onward travel. The hostel is very nice and clean. Appears to have been redecorated very recently. It was serene and quiet during my stay, despite being only minutes on foot to the centre.
