It was very relaxing, beautifully set up and had absolutely everything we wanted! It was really helpful that the restaurant was open al the time so we could eat when we wanted (delicious food) and the rooms were so comfortable and spacious! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

Lovely grounds with a beautiful river next to the hotel. Nice facilities including the swimming pool and steam room which the staff turned on when we asked - fantastic massage. Very comfortable bed.

My husband fell ill during our stay, and the staff were so kind (offering tea, asking about his health, etc.) top notch people! Also, the amenities, such as the Turkish bath/steam room, are fantastic.

Nothing! The only thing would be a slightly dated bedroom that needed a lick of paint, but not badly by any means.

So many good things. Delicious and affordable food. Comfortable clean rooms. Beautiful grounds with an amazing pool. The steam room was excellent! The best thing out of all, though, was the unbelievably good service! I got sick during our stay and the staff were so, so kind - helped me to find a pharmacy, organised taxis, offered breakfast in bed and special teas to help me feel better. Couldn’t have asked for more, thank you so much!

The rooms are a bit tired. However, you spend very little time there for it to become an issue. Maybe fix the bedside lamps. Also, found the massage prices a bit high compared to similar retreats in the area.

True retreat. Extensive spa facilities. The wet areas were very well kept. The food absolutely delicious. Dinner and breakfast were the best we had in that part of the country and very reasonably priced for the quality. Vanessa, member of the staff, was incredibly helpful and attentive. The same with the reception. Warm and efficient welcome. The proximity to the river is a very attractive feature.

Pretty and relaxing, great pool, good air conditioning, very very helpful and friendly staff, lovely location next to the river, visit with indigenous leader, all the birds singing in the morning.

I dont even know where to start. This was the most amazing stay we've had in a long time. Surrounded by nature, yet secluded and safe, the staff were so lovely and attentive, anything you need they will bring to you at any time. Food, drinks were amazing. A perfect provate retreat. So beautiful! Just minutes to Tayrona National Park which is a must-do! Towns not far either.

All the facilities were first class. In particular, the swimming pool was excellent, and grounds provided a haven for birds, including humming birds. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The grounds are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so comfortable and welcoming. The pool has so many different types of massage, which was needed after a long day of hiking the Tayrona loop. The hot tub does take an hour to heat up, but that was no problem at all for us. Just let them know if you plan on using it in the evening and they’re happy to turn it on for you! I think it’s great they’re not wasting power to heat up multiple hot tubs and use precious resources, when not in use. The food was delicious too! I can’t really say enough about Kantawa, I wish we spent our whole vacation here! Highly recommend!

they only had little bottles of water for the room so we had to keep filling our camping bottles (I’m just NOT buying hundreds of little plastic bottles!!). there should be either a free big bottle in the room, or a more accessible flow of filtered water than going to the dining room and asking for a fill up. it was often hard to find staff when needed and no phones or intercoms in rooms. I recommend they check in with clients while at central poolside location. they could have sold us more products and services that way too! but overall an amazing location/ property/ people!

This hotel has the potential to be a 5 star! Its grounds are beautiful but a little run down. Some minor fixes and maintenance, and this can truly be a top tiered hotel. A little structure in the processes in place would have been nice. The spa treatment was great but lacked coordination and proper planning for the turkish bath/sauna/jacuzzi. Also, a good deep clean is needed in rooms and jacuzzi. Shower in our room lacked hot water but was hot enough outside that it didn't bother us.

Staff is excellent, truly trying to make your experience comfortable with the resources they have. The amenities were nice.

Hotel has amazing garden with lot of facilities like pool jacuzzi, massages and so. It is not brand new but everything looked clean and hygiene was kept. Restaurant served very nice dishes.

The Spa hotel is amazing. The staff wants to make your time amazing too. We loved the Pool and jacuzzi and the beds + room was super. We had a really nice stay and sleep.

The main issue I personally had was the same issue I had the last time I stayed here. The suite does not get good internet. Now, granted, most people will want to disconnect and I wish I could, however I run a business remotely and had to go outside in the middle of the night to get some signal. They should definitely put in a repeater. I asked upon arrival if they had fixed the internet issue and I was assured that it was fixed. I would say around the property in general, there is decent internet however in the suite itself, it was nearly non-existent.

I have stayed here before and loved it. It was just as good if not better. The massages and facial treatments as well as the service and food were A+++! I will definitely be staying here again.

Very good food. Nice, warm swimming pool water. The river is also quite warm and enjoyable. Excellent natural landscape and private getaway. Turkish bath is very cool.

Gorgeous hotel surrounded by beautiful grounds including a river . Very relaxing pool and jacuzzi amongst other things. Staff were very attentive.

The last day a family with screaming kid and father whistling and yelling at the pool. This place is supposed to be a,spa. A place of quite relaxation. I would suggest no children allowed or at least some sort of noise regulation.

Peaceful location Staff great special mention to Jason and the management for the exceptional service. This place has 5 Star service. Drinks are great food selection is also good. The massage by the river was so good we had it again the next day. Used all the facilities sauna steam room pool they are all top notch. I would come back in a heartbeat. Loved the place.
