The soundproofing is non existent - so you can hear conversations from other rooms. Don’t talk anything confidential in the room!

Location is excellent - super near the town centre. Colourful decor and cute rooms. Loved the seat swing very nice and the staff were great and let us have a fan in our room.

It is close to the road so has some road noise. Our toilet was super touchy and overflowed. The other people staying there were a little loud.

Staff recommended a coffee tour which was lovely and helped to arrange transport for a few other activities— but booked me for a “night walk” (Don Rodolpho) which was by far the worst tour I’ve ever been on. Other tours go to the nearby nature reserved and this was just some man walking the group around the perimeter of a farm— didn’t see anything in terms of interesting wildlife and only didn’t leave because I didn’t want to offend this guy. Although the accommodations were otherwise good, I felt taken advantage of by trusting them to book a decent tour

It is in the center of town so there is a bit of traffic noises.

Open room with outdoor chairs. Best of all we saw a Mot Mot and a toucan in the trees from our balcony. Nice to have a communal refrigerator to keep food in. Easy walk to restaurants. Host set up all our tours to pick us up right out the door.

The kitchen gets locked at 8 pm for the rooms by the living room so we couldn't access the fridge between 8 pm to 7 am.

Location was superb. 1-2 mins walk to the town and the supermarket. It's a cozy little bohem guest house. Decent sized, bright and breezy common area. The kitchen is a bit tight but I saw guests cooking cordialy. Our room was right by the living room with the red couches. Tiny room, but comfortable and clean. Staff was also super nice and friendly.

There are a lot of loud motorcycles that like to drive around at night on the road right next to the building. If you're in a room downstairs by the kitchen, your windrow opens on the street side.

The kitchen was very well equipped, the staff was very helpful, and the coffee was great. Good value for the money, despite the old facilities and small rooms.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Lack of space to put stuff to a degree that felt like you weren’t still completely living out of your suitcase. Was told we could leave luggage at office the morning of checkout while we went to the cloud forest but no one was there at our departure time so had to leave luggage outside which left me feeling anxious. All ended well but wished for better communication on the matter.

Great location to walk right up into town but yet not noisy. Peaceful surroundings inside and out. Friendly staff. Great to have an en suite bathroom.

My family of four divided into two rooms and they still felt very small. I’d highly recommend getting one of the bigger rooms, even for a smaller party. The beds were not the most comfortable. But, for the price, these are minor complaints.

The people and location were superb. The breakfast was delicious. The owner went out of her way to do something nice for my daughter’s 13th birthday, which was very much appreciated. Cannot beat the value of this place!

There is no parking spaces like other hotels. Opposite to the hotel there are couple parking spaces we can park.

We booked two separate rooms, but they were so so tiny, so I requested little bigger rooms and paid extra $15 per room (Don't remember exact price) and moved to the rooms behind the kitchen. After using the sink/bathroom noticed the water on the side of the room and coming out from main door. Next day morning I did mention the issue to the manager (Marleny) on duty and she allotted us another room upstairs with full and 2 bunk beds (this is much much better than the other rooms). Location is great, It's less than 5 minutes walk to the restaurant's, super market, coffee shops etc. We booked the Bird tour from hotel and the guide was excellent. Great Kitchen and the manager offered us cookies, so kind of her.

The coffee is very weak. I was super excited that they have their own plantation, but the coffee was so weak I ended up going out to buy coffee every morning.

After the first night the staff had no problem moving us to a new room because I couldn't sleep with all the road noise. The staff are also very helpful with booking trips.

It was disappointing that there were so many “do not” notices around the place. The walls were extremely thin so I can see why they had a rule about no noise after a certain time. However it did mean that I did not feel like I could relax. I had an internal room with the window looking onto a common area so had to have the curtain closed all the time and no natural light. This should have been mentioned in the description. Although clean, the room generally felt run down and as it was “underground” had a damp feel to it.

It was pretty central and they did a good job of explaining the various trips on offer in the area providing a map too

I spent two nights with a new friend I met while traveling at Cabinas El Pueblo. The staff was super friendly and helpful as we first booked separated rooms but it wasn't an issue at all to switch to just one double room later on. We didn't book breakfast but were treated with some nice coffee to enjoy in the mornings. Supermarkets, sodas, restaurants, souvenir shops and shops to book activities are all within walking distance. There are also multiple rooms with more than two beds so that groups or families can stay in one room.

No fridge in bedroom. Downstairs kitchen and lounge area locked 8pm-7.30am - would be nice to have longer access. Electrics didn't seem that safe in our room - gap behind bathroom light switch, and angled plug socket.

Friendly staff, good location by the centre, great kitchen facilities and nice area downstairs to relax. Good information on area too. Nice coffee!
