when you get a breakfast online it is not the comprehensive it is just fruit and bread which is ok but I needed the comprehensive really

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The equipments are old, but everything works and it's clean. Wonderful location and reasonable price.

Personally, what I didn't like was that, when taking a bath, the shower water was super cold. I even thought that maybe by playing with the shower handles, but both of them were for cold water. Definitely, my fastest shower ever! Anyway, if you are into cold showers, you won't have an issue with it.

The hotel has great personnel, super friendly and willing to help you. Unfortunately, I was not able to taste the breakfast as I got a slept, but for what I heard from other visitors, it was great and tasty. Overall, it's a very centric place to stay at, for a nice price as well.

It looked like the bed hadn’t been changed. Two beds i tried we’re full with hairs and sand. The included breakfast was very little, but that’s okay.

Great location, i arrived quite late and that was no problem. The room was spacious and the bathroom too (+ hot shower!). The temperature in the room was really nice. Good working internet!

Could smell a little better

Excellent customer service. Very friendly and respectable staff. If you want the nice view you need the more pricey rooms. The shared dorms; you get what you pay for but its in the heart of downtown SJ and the customer service is increadable.

A bit hard to find. The entrance is on the pedestrian walk which is a bit confusing if you taxi or uber.

I think it used to be a luxurious hotel but it has quite worn off with time. Kinda historic building!

It’s located right in the centre, so pretty accessible to any bus station or other facilities.

A few mattresses are due for an upgrade. Many in the 8 bed dorm were worn and you could feel the springs, but a top bunk mattress was firm and comfortable.

Breakfast was included in the price of $11,00 a night. It was delicious and filling. Made it a great value for money stay. Location on central Ave is walking distance to major bus terminals and in the heart of the downtown area, so it was great too.

The bulbs in the room were fairly dull so hard to read anything at night but apart from that it was good value

The centre is a little dodgy at night, be careful.

Perfect location for the centre of San Jose. Walking distance to markets, shopping area and buildings. Great view from 8th floor balcony! Good breakfast for $6.

Awesome breakfast for just 1,50$ more. Clean rooms and a hot shower! Perfect location to walk to all the important places of the city (bus stations, museums, theatre, shops). 24hrs reception and some cozy chairs and the breakfast room to chill out. Recommended!

The mattress in the dorm room was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs. The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner/less damaged.
