Our family LOVED the daily breakfast!! It was outstanding!! And the staff couldn't have been more accomodating with our special requests such as gluten free breakfasts for our daughter. Eduardo and Sol, were the most gracious, warm, and friendly hosts. They really made us feel relaxed and comfortable, making our stay most enjoyable!! Additionally, the place itself was a paradise, with an incredible view of the sea and most relaxing lounge chairs and beds to sunbathe or read in the shade. It was hard to leave the premises as we loved the property so much!! There were monkeys in the trees and iguanas all around, and the sunsets were spectacular, not to be missed!!

Nothing! Everything was amazing at this location. Eduardo made sure we had transportation from the airport, once we arrived our room was amazing, lily’s home cooked breakfast. It was just amazing.

This B&B is an absolute Gem. The cozy rooms with outdoor shower to the private beach front that has front row experience of daily sunset to the best service and breakfast each day. It was all magical.

Breakfast was delicious—fresh fruit every day, along with a main dish. Location was close to Tamarindo with a quiet beach that felt private. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Howler monkeys passed overhead a few times; it was amazing to see them so close. Highly recommend this to anyone. Would be perfect for a honeymoon/romantic getaway!

Where the property is located, there are a lot of rocks in the ocean, so many that you truly can’t go swim at any hour. You have to time it right when it’s really high tide.

5 minute drive to Tamarindo, could have walked there if we wanted too! Yet still felt very private and not as touristy. The beach access is incredible. Each casita/cottage style room was spacious and felt like home away from home.

My only complaint would be the lack of personal fridges so if you wanted something cold you had to buy from their honor bar which was still really nice

The breakfast was incredible. I am gluten free and they were able to accommodate. They cleaned our rooms everyday there was always fresh towels available and ample space to relax. The property was beautiful ocean front, we saw so many wildlife including howler monkies and iguanas! And were able to unwind completely from life

It’s right on the beach. The breakfasts were superb. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Honesty bar was a great idea and very handy for grabbing a cold drink. It is in a quiet location with Tamarindo close by (short Uber/taxi/golf cart ride, 20-30 minute walk).

There wasn’t a single thing to dislike! Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

A beautiful, relaxing, and very unique property that exceeded all expectations. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well-decorated, the facilities (pool, beach, hallways, landscaping) are all perfectly maintained, and the staff and hosts were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was GREAT! The location is also great— very private and luxurious but a quick walk to downtown Tamarindo for partying, shopping, and dining. Our room was the Misha, and it’s perfect for a girls’ trip or a family trip.

The king-sized bed was a little high which can make it tricky to get on and off if you have mobility issues (we used a chair to step on and had no problems)

Very nice hotel, clean, cozy with excellent three course home-made breakfast. Right on Langosta beach but still felt secluded. Easy communication with the friendly owners.

The whole area is more expensive, so value is actually not bad at all. Kids enjoyed surfing, horseback on the beach and hanging out

We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful and quiet place. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and service was excellent and the owners are very kind people. They helped us with every request. We loved the location at the beach and the peaceful environment. There are only 7 rooms, so you feel like home.

Great location, quiet as just outside town with great private beach area. Outstanding staff. Breakfast is made on-site and was excellent. The Luna Suite was spacious with a great view of ocean.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are so relaxing and tranquil. The location can't be beat. Plenty of beachfront seats (chairs, loungers, beds) to take in the beautiful view from the shade. But, the staff really make the place what it is: Susan, Victor, Lilly, Donald, and Elena. Lilly prepares a delicious, filling, vegetarian breakfast every morning. We loved her scratch-made pancakes, fruit parfaits, gallo pinto (rice, beans, eggs, plantains), huevos rancheros, and crepes. Susan stayed after hours to help us check in after a long drive from Quepos, and stayed late again to let us know of a local event that would impact our route to the airport the next morning. Victor was so kind every morning, and Donald made us feel safe even in the pitch black darkness at night. Elena keeps everything beautiful and cleaned our room in the blink of an eye every morning. We really loved the vibe--from the honor bar (honor-based system of taking beverages from the fridge) to the other guests we met there. Even though Tamarindo itself may not be our cup of tea (reminded us too much of Florida), Sueño del Mar was a delight and we could have spent our entire visit there!

Maybe one thing - the quality of coffee was quite average, but we noticed that is a general problem in Costa Rica. Also it would be nice to have possibility to serve espresso or capuccino even if as a paid service (eg Nespresso)

The property is managed like it would be someone’s home. The entire team there is just amazing, the attention to every little detail is fantastic. The room was very cosy, the garden is beautiful and quiet. We have never had better breakfast on our travels, omg, that was a highlight of the day. It is a place you do not want to leave and we prolonged our stay by one night.

Beautiful private beach access to watch the sunsets. A little bit of a walk to beaches that you can swim in - but it was so lovely to start and end each day with a walk in the sand. Great little breakfast every morning, and cool beers in the fridge. This hotel makes you instantly unwind. We preferred this compared to closer to the main area of Tamarindo.

Beautiful gardens and right on the beach. Easy access to Tamarindo although helpful to have a vehicle as it is about a one mile from town and there is no food offered past breakfast. The staff are lovely. Very much a bed and breakfast.

What a hidden gem. A lovely place with natural style and garden-like. It is in a quieter part of Tamarindo with less traffic. It sits right on the beach. You walk out of your room, of which there are only 7, you walk 20 steps to the comfortable lounge chairs right on the sand under some trees and watch the waves. The beach is rocky but beautiful. It is like having your own house on the beach but with people taking care of you. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff are very friendly.
