Kitchen equipment looked old- kettle was very small, not too many dishes to make some food. The microwave-oven-stove looked weird. The bed covers, pillows and blanket had some stains- not really comfortable to use them... It was a bit difficult to find the apartment- not very well signed.

Very well location, in the center, close to the promenade. Apartment was clean, nice, refurbished bathroom. Towels were available. The hair dryer & iron were available at the reception. No problem to get it. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice as well. Delicious breakfest in the bar.

In the kichen they have the old type of faucet where you have to turn on hot and cold water seperatly by turning nobs around, so when you're washing the dishes you just keep it on since it takes too much effort to turn it on and off. If they would change the faucet to a normal one they would quickly get the invested money back with saved water bill. Also it takes quite a while for warm water to start flowing. Also the signs on the faucet were revered, blue was for hot water. In the bathroom there wasn't any extra drain on the floor and when you took the shower some water goes past the curtains and it just stays on the floor.⁷

It’s very convenient to everything. And staffs are friendly especially George who waited and greeted us, brought to our room when we arrived.

1)Internet was continuing disconnecting and have to set the password every 20-30 minutes. 2)I had a problem with the card for the electricity and when I reported the first answer that I received was” we can sorted out tomorrow because who can sort it out already left” reported second time because I couldn’t use nothing that work with electricity (charging my phone or watching tv) and the problem has been sorted in less than half hour. 3)The noise at night from the nearby pubs and disco, even with window and balcony closed you can hear noise until 5 in morning every day of the week.

We didn’t use it but we were very happily surprised about the swimming pool Location was very good and the price was fair.

Only negative I have, would be the noise at night time. The hotel is close to alot of bars, music played until approx 3am every night. However, our family members in a room on the opposite side of the building didn't hear it at all.

Staff were fantastic, both in reception and in Friends Bar. Great spot, close to everything, walking distance. Entertainment at night in Friends Bar was great

The bed was a bit hard but still okay. The shower was small and you were always hugging the shower curtain, while creating a pool in the bathroom.

The hotel asked me a question over the chat prior to check-in but never responded to my request. They were not prepared for our stay, I had to fill out a paper which would be a hotel’s job.

The location in the middle of everything close to the sea with roofed parking and a pool was ideal for our stay.

I didn't like paying extra for air con

Great value for money, great location. Jenni on reception was lovely and very helpful from booking to checking in and out. Lovely clean tidy room. Car park was a little small but we did have a large vehicle. Bar and entertain was very good. The towels need upgrading in the rooms, they looked a bit worn and some of the bathroom fittings need tightening/adjusting but other than that a really great place to stay. Lovely hot shower, comfortable beds and pool area clean and tidy.

There was no soap or cleaning products whatsoever put at your disposal in the apartment. For the bathroom, I get it, but for the dishes it felt weird. The building we stayed in did not have an elevator, so the access for disabled people or people with many luggage is not so easy. On Saturday, the evening programs from all the bars was longer and it was very loud. You would have thought that the party was taking place in your room. However, the music volume is turned lower after midnight and in all the other days the noise was not such a big problem. Our apartment was naturally lightened by the sun which made the air inside very hard to breath, sometimes even with the AC on. We had to ask at the reception for a hairdryer and for an iron. We were lucky about the first, but they could not give us an iron (and I was counting on it). The internet connection is quite slow and sometimes it is impossible to even connect to it. It was not dirty, but it was not the cleanest place we ever stayed in (even though the cleaning stuff was cleaning the room every day).

All in all, we had a pleasant experience at Alecos. I think that the value received vs the price was a fair deal. We felt we were being in a friendly place and the atmosphere was the right one for people that were in a vacation. It has evening programs (singers or other type of performers join the scene of the restaurant every evening) which makes the experience quite unique. It is situated in the harbor area and it is at a walkable distance (10 minutes and above) from the central bus station (and this is a big plus, trust me!), from the beaches and from a lot of very important and not to be missed monuments). It is also not on the main street (so not exactly facing the beach), but in a very animated and fun area, full of restaurant and karaoke bars. It has a big enough pool in the back of the courtyard. The restaurant of the hotel has a generous menu and decent food and prices. We have communicated very well with the employees of the hotel and of the restaurant. The apartment that we stayed in was not very close to the pool, it was not huge (the bathroom especially), but it was not small either, and it had a nice balcony that we could enjoy early in the morning or late in the evening (when the sun was not too aggressive).
