Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe shower head was very low, barely came up to my chest and I'm not that tall. The room was a little small as well.
Comfortable room, that was cleaned to a high standard. The location was good. Short walk into the centre of Prague, and not too far away from the metro.

Hungaryeverything was good, maybe I didn’t like the pillows, don’t like lumps inside, maybe it will be great to shake them.
the location of the hotel is great, just 15-20min from all historical places. The personal is good and friendly, it was a daily cleaning of the room. Breakfast was also good, not many options but you will find something what you like

PolandSuper tiny bathroom. In order to get the parking...you need to take the key from the reception.
Perfect location. The hotel is in the city centre- there is no need to use the public transport. Private parking (15€/day)- very small so you need to book it in advance. Dogs are allowed (15€/day) but not in the restaurant. There are a few green areas around which are perfect for morning walk with the dog. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

United StatesBetter check the PIN for the GPS. We are completely strangers and to find your place should just be easy. The Goog Map GPS will tell you that they have two locations. Check it out.
Again, the GPS did not exactly point to their exact location, especially when walking. There should be a better way to pinpoint in the GPS. Luckily, it was early in the morning and the weather is fine. Should have been worst if it was late in the evening and the weather is bad. It was booked last minute, so I was not able to research much of the place.

GreeceOur stay at Hotel Arbes was excellent! The room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was great. The receptionists were friendly and very helpful (giving us directions, printing our boarding passes, securing our luggage from checkout until our departure for the airport). I should also note that the reception is open 24/7. The location is very good, with a tram stop less than 2 minutes from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again (we petted the golden dog at Charles Bridge to increase our chances of coming to Prague again)! I highly recommend it!

BulgariaEverything was fine, I felt comfortable in this place.
It was a perfect location for my purpose - quiet and very well connected by public transport to other parts of the city and to the railway station - and also providing the opportunity for enjoyable walking to the historic parts of the city. The staff was supportive and eager to help. The room was quiet and very clean, breakfast was nice and well organized.

MaltaThe breakfast selection didn't change much from one morning to the next but it was still good enough. Could have used more electric plugs since there were only 2 plugs available close to the floor in the room and none near the bedside tables.
It is located in a quiet area, very close to a tram stop and is still walking distance from the central area. Not being right in the center made us discover more areas of Prague that we wouldn't otherwise have seen. The room was comfortable, compact, and cleaned on a daily basis, including changing of towels and refills of teabags. The tap water was good for drinking so you always have something to drink from. The breakfast was overall good, light, and on the healthier side. The staff is very friendly and was helpful throughout our stay, and even afterwards, since they're very responsive when contacted online. They were kind enough to send my charging wire by post to my house, as I had forgotten it at the hotel. Public transport tickets are available at the reception with no extra charges.

Spacious room, very clean, quiet location with easy access to street cars and short walk to metro. Ample breakfast with good variety provided. This is a warm and homey old world hotel with new world convenience. We'd stay there again!

Really good location, just away from tourist central but really easy to access everything by tram or a short walk. Secure car parking available. Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff. Provided all the basics.

IsraelWi-fi is not that good. falls down a couple of times a day
Visited Prague in August 2022. The location of the hotel is one of the biggest advantages. 10 min on the bus (that goes every 5 min) to the Old city, but silent enough, and not crowded by tourists from all over the world. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, a lot of restaurants with normal prices in 200 metr radius. Nothing else is needed

PolandDespite not being located in a tourist-dense area, the neighbourhood is quite noisy due to the nearby traffic, which makes falling asleep difficult and might be an issue for those who don't like getting up early. Room cleaning was subpar - bedsheets weren't changed regularly (if at all) and the floor looked as if it wasn't vacuumed even a single time during our 1-week long stay. Also, the double bed was actually two separate matresses put together on a single frame - not very comfortable at all.

RomaniaVery nice place to stay in Prague! I went with my wife and stayed 5 nights. - good location, 20 mins walk from old town. Tram station is really close. There are restaurants, cafe, shopping mall near by. - clean and very big room, nice arranged, classic style. Bath and WC are separated rooms. - the personnel is professional and helpful 24/7. They arranged us taxi from and to airport. - the breakfast is the same every day but it's good with many choices, from cheese, meat, vegetables, eggs, desert, coffee, tea, juice etc. - free of charge luggage room after check out. - good price for what they offer. I recommend it!

PolandEverything was great, but the breakfasts are not very varied, they are the same every day and not very high quality so if you’re used to something else then you should consider eating out, but everything else is excellent for this price
We stayed for 4 nights and everything was lovely, nothing to pick on really. The room is cleaned every day, towels and sheets changed. The staff was always helpful and kind, they even have tickets for the tube at the desk so you don’t have to buy them elsewhere. The location is wonderful, we went everywhere by foot and the tube connections are well planned and intuitive. There is a parking space but check with them beforehand if there is a place available because it’s limited.
