Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Owners were very helpful and responsive answering questions before arrival and also at the property. Location was great, public transport (bus and tram near by), but room was very quiet. Definitely will stay there again!

SpainThe property looks new. It’s pretty clean and beds are comfy. It’s quiet so no noise from outside nor from the rooms around us. The receptionists were very nice. It’s not too close to the center, but not too far either so we didn’t mind the walk.

Czech RepublicPlastic cups. No shampoo dispenser in the shower, you get just an airport-size bottle.
Newly reconsctructed family-type hotel near the centre - walking distance from the railway or coach station and to the centre. A small room overlooking the yard, but equipped enough. A very nice lady at the reception welcoming you every time, although it's a self-service hotel. A coffee machine at the reception accepting coins or cards. Reliable wifi. A possibilty to borrow crockery at the reception. 7-Elevens or LIDL nearby, many restaurants too. Socket next to bed. A terrace available for the guests.

UkraineIn general, I liked everything, it was quiet, the noise isolation was good enough, the noise of cars was not heard. It is convenient to get to the center, only 3 stops by tram, friendly staff, cleaning once every 2 days, everything is clean. The only thing that was a little sad was that the restaurant was undergoing restoration and we had to go to other cafes for breakfast. But in general, it did not affect the overall impression.

The rooms have new furniture, very clean and a nice bathroom. We had a spare bed, which makes the room even more cosy and spatious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I'd certainly come back.

GermanyThe check-in was easy and the lady who helped us was the nicest person. The hotel has recently been renovated so everything is super new and clean. Perfect location in Prague, just a few tram stops away from the crowded city center. We were allowed to keep our luggage in the lobby before check-in and after check-out.

Very nice area around the hotel: quiet (I had the room looking at the inside yard). The room was big enough for what I booked it: comfortable bed, with the clean bathroom. All was remodeled. Location is good: 3 min walk from the tram stop. Quite easy to approach the city center by tram (I did not walk to the city center so cannot tell how far is that). You do the check in online and you receive a hotel/room key code by email. Amazing thing! I stayed one night and would highly recommend it.

United KingdomThe location of the hotel is little far as told 700 meters but actually it is 1.4 km from the railway station and if you are carrying luggage you need to walk on up and down the road and stairs till the hotel which is a little challenging.

LuxembourgNo black-outs on the windows which makes it difficult to sleep past 7' o clock. Shower head was installed in a weird direction which made impossible to take a shower without holding it. These are details that if adjusted make this place a wonderful choice.
Staff was super nice, beds were comfortable and bedroom was clean. Hotel is being renovated to have a more modern look and the location is close enough to the center without all the buzz.

United StatesSome what confusing check-in process which was on-line the day before arriving. We were asked us to send travel information via a web portal which we weren't sure was secure. We contacted the hotel via Booking and, since we were arriving during hours the desk was staffed, we didn't need to send these documents. Hotel and room entry was via key code which sometimes needed extra attention and patience to get it to work. A small suggestion would be to put a tray in both showers as there was no place to put soap/shampoo/etc. It would also be nice if the hotel could have breakfast service again as the dining room was inviting but empty!
Great location with convenient access to tram/bus as well as Prague Central Train station and Florenc bus station. Not in a tourist area which was wonderful! Quiet, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good food options nearby including restaurants and a LIDL. Great shower! Appreciated having a refrigerator. We stayed twice, once at the beginning of our time in Czech Republic and again as we departed the Czech Republic. We had rooms on two floors and, although the rooms were different in size and configuration, both were great. We would stay here again when in Prague.

United KingdomThe property is quite central and about 8-minute walk from the tram. However, there is quite a bit of a walk to the nearest tube 15 minutes or so.
Our family room was one of a few that undertook a reconstruction. It was clean and spacious. An elevator is available to get to the higher floors. A smooth self-service check-in via code at the hotel front door and the room door is available. The receptionist Jana was very friendly and helpful and let us have luggage at the reception while we went to explore the city centre.
