How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing. All perfect!
A quaint, peaceful little place only steps away from the Old Town. Very attentive & courteous staff. We had everything that we could possibly need for the stay in the well-equipped kitchen. It was a lovely and calming few days of rest & vacation for us. Thank you for being great hosts Prague Siesta colleagues 😊

Sound insulation of bedroom is not good. The bed is next to the wood stairs outside and noise may interfere your sleep

The furniture is a bit old and not coordinated. The kitchen is in the bedroom which a bit odd.
The location of the apartment is very central. Few steps out and you are in the main old town. Lots of eateries around.

Nothing, or, maybe, just the fact that the bed cover was a bit short for a 1m90 (6"3) man. But that just a detail.
We arrived very late and they sent us the instructions to self check in. We had pictures and very precise instructions so everything went smoothly. It was perfect. The apartment was just the right size and the location is exceptional. Really a wonderful place.

The property says with balcony, however it was just the space outside the door in the landing however it was still handy to sit out.
The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the girl at reception was lovely. It was my son’s birthday and they put up a large banner for him, which was a lovely surprise. Nothing was too much trouble. The best thing about the apartments is the location. Two minutes walk to the square. Fabulous! It was a gated property therefore very secure and also very quiet although central.

There is only one key for the main door and for the room door. So people who have key from main door could open the door to the our room. We felt unsafely. And there is not a safe. May be due to lack of ventilation there was bad smell.

I suggest just a bit of water for the welcome and adding a sofa to relax on during the day.
The location was exceptional. The space in the bedroom is enough to relax after a long day outdoor. The kitchen and the bathroom are appropriate for their use. Everything was comfortable and welcoming.

Streets were a bit noisy through the night, but I believe that comes with the very desirable location. The locking of the room was a bit odd, felt like a bit of a fire hazard to be honest.

The flooring and furniture in the apartment need to be updated.

The location is great for touristic attractions. Public transportation is not close but just 50 m way from Old City Market. The beds are comfy, heating was working in the bedroom and kitchen properly. We used kitchen actively and everyting was working. There was a construction at the entrance of the pplace but management team (spesifically David) was very king and friendly to inform us about updates of construction works (working hours, possible noise etc.). Additionally, we left our luggases in the storage room for 2 hours after our check-out. It worked very well too. I and my parents (~60 years old) enjoyed our stay and will prefer to stay here in our next Prague trips.

The only thing I could possibly have as a criticism of this room is the layout. I was travelling with two friends who are in a relationship and the room was one Queen bed and one Twin bed in the same room. The beds being in the same room was a bit strange but that was only because of my own situation; for two parents and a child, this would work very well.
The room was a lot larger than I expected and felt very safe. There was great access to the Old Town Square especially for the value. The staff were all nice and very helpful whenever I had a question.
