There was no wifi in our room (no signal) and also no signal for internet roaming. Not acceptable for 2022.

Great if you have kids. They will love the castle vibe.

1. The hotel reservation did not mention that dinner until 19:30 and the pool until 21:00 2. Grated carrots, cabbage and cold pasta for dinner. There is also soup, but it runs out around 19:00 and there is nothing in the place. There is no bread. They suddenly bring chicken with side dishes - why is it the same for everyone? Toppings are terrible - then 2 days of stomach ache. 3. Breakfast at the 2* (or lower) level - sausage and cheese as from the store, scrambled eggs (from powder to taste), some vegetables. And for dessert, 1 type of cake. Nothing of local preparation. No match for a 4* hotel. 4. WiFi is at the reception, but it has already disappeared by the time of the room. And mobile networks don't work here either. TV - some 10 mysteriously selected programs - no English, not even Czech channels. 5. The staff is not very responsive. When I explained to the administrator that the Wifi does not work in the room, the answer was that she is not an IT specialist. But the same remarks were also made in other comments - so, it is known, but is being ignored. Similarly, at breakfast and dinner - no one explains or helps, I did not see the food being replenished. 6. The pool is like nothing - the temperature is lower than usual, but only 2 saunas - Roman - so it would be nice to have a chance to wash the bench. The sauna is occupied by a naked couple. Nowhere did I see an indication that you can be naked in the SPA premises. Jacuzzi is completely incomprehensible. Compared to other hotels with SPA - very poor. 7. The feeling that something is missing, unlike other hotels - there are glasses and an empty carafe in the room, but no drinking water. There is no mini bar. There is a bathrobe, but no slippers.

Beautiful, well restored castle and hotel rooms. The rooms are richly furnished with beautiful furniture. 10 points for that, but -1 point for each shortcoming.

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good but the evening meal wasn’t. There was 3 meals to choose from the evening before and it tasted good but the soups we’re lukewarm and a lack of fresh salads

where to start? the towels are ripped, the lamps and bed missed some decorative pieces. No kettle in the room. The provided pitcher for water was so dirty and dusty. NOT at all SOUNDPROOF!! You can hear everything. The doors are loud and squeaky you can hear them in the entire hotel from 7am-23:30pm. Breakfast is ok. Not a big selection. Dinner is delicious but you have to choose your first dinner before you come to the hotel from an all Czech Email. this is impossible! ALL! Drinks for dinner are at extra cost. if you’re lucky enough that someone asks you for drinks. There are no signs on the food so have to ask or guess what you eat. Even with asking it was not 100%. Because they either don’t know, understand or care. I asked them to fit GLUTEN FREE but they failed multiple times. The Spa is terrifying! The warming sea mud is with mintoil or something like that. I had an ALERGIC REACTION to it. The staff didn’t understand or cared! It took 4h 2x allergy pills and a lot of cortisone cream to be ok again. At the front desk they took the price for this of the bill but no compensation for the pain. This straight up dangerous and should be prohibited!! For all the procedures no one explaines to you what it is or how it works. Because nobody speaks enough English or German.

It was my honey moon.. Come on. It was not ruined because we spent a lot of time out of the hotel and not inside. They claim they are a "green hotel". I think they got it wrong. Green hotel should teach it's clients how to be greaner and not force it upon them. In this case, they found an easy way to save some money on detergents, cleaning and other stuff. I was surprised that my room wasn't cleaned and the towels were not changed on our first day. When asked at the reception I was told that it is a common practice here, didn't you know that??? . It is clearly not stated while booking, nor in their website. In the bathroom it clearly written on the wall, that if i put the towels on the floor or whenever they will be replaced. The same statement is also available on booking.com. It clearly that they are confused and misleading cuatomers. On a piece of paper next to 2 orange towels we found a message from the spa, that it will cost us 50 Krons to replace each towel. The referral is for the spa towels only... Not all the towels. The reception lady was surprised when I asked to clean the room and replace the towels...This is not SPA hotel. SPA should make you feel relaxed, clean instead I was worrying about cleaning the room, drying the towels on a semi working drying rack and scavenging for towels... The breakfast is not worth your time, go to Karlovy Vary instead. Go and check room 218 and proove me wrong. The shower is dirty and full with stains on the wall, some mold is present in the corners. The shower head and it's hanger is broken. The toilet seat is ooooold and is peeling off, also it doesn't fit the shape of the toilet. Our shower was leaking from the door, thats why we used one towel to soak all the water. The sink is leaking at it's base. The door is not shutting easily, probably water damage. The towels dryer is not working half of the time, our towels remaines wet half of the time. We actually bought 4 towels.

The location and the look of the castle is wonderful. Especially at night, very Beautiful. The Georgian restaurant on the premise is nice as well. Worth visiting and trying out everything.

Hard beds. Restaurants were disappointing - one with good food but angry staff, the other with pre-order requirement by 7pm on previous day - and a canteen like atmosphere.

The building and grounds are amazing. We also loved the outdoors exhibition with the statues from rock and steel - fabulous. The setting was wonderful.
