Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Stateswell its all about the heat. if the heater and if there was heat it would have received a higher star and reviews. but a cold room when advertising it has heater--is NOT good. but the customer service was good and hospitable for the hamburg region. but the rooms very dark for a reason--cause it was dirty, it has a lot cobwebs and needs some serious cleaning. cleaning doesnt cost money. overall the hospitality did way in favor of the service but still needs some cleaning improvements.
very hospital staff. didnt try to bothe you. smooth easy self check-in for late arrivals for europeans and western tourist or business people. parking was limited in front of hotel .. but plenty of parking in the back. the place is located in resdential area...

SwedenThe beds were way too hard to sleep on. There was too much smoke smell in the halls. As a family with children, it was not at all good to get a room near the other guests allowed to smoke. Would have been good if both guests and staff could smoke at least 500 meters from the building. You had a very simple breakfast. didn't have much to choose from.
It was OK. Not at all what we expected according to your three stars. Everything was too simple.

NetherlandsThe room caroet and bathroom were not so clean. Moreover we booked the hotel through booking.com for 2 adults and 1 child however we hsd to pay extra 15€ at the property because there was no bed available.
The property as suvh was not that bad. I liked that the receptionist waited for ud till late so that we can make the checkin. Breakfast was included in the price.

United KingdomThe hotel is in need of some upgrade in particular the stains on the hall carpet on the first floor level and in the bed room. Basic facilities within the room - no fridge/ coffee maker etc. While a bottle of water was available on the first evening this was not replaced. Any one using the hotel must have the benefit of a car as its location is somewhat removed from Glinde town centre.
Breakfast was overall very good with a large selection available.

quiet areas in a small village outside the city with a super market 3 minutes away by car; free parking, ok staff, acceptable structure for the price we paid, large clean room with fresh smell of new paint (at least for the room we had, 2nd floor) recommend for those traveling in groups or with many people low cost a little outside the city (20 minutes from the city of Hamburg by car obviously)

Germanyspiders with a lot of cobwebs in the room, the bathroom and the shower under any criticism, I was afraid to take a shower without disinfecting well before, the bathroom with a lot of mold. The carpet was dirty, the mattresses and pillows were very dirty. Never in my life have I stayed in such bad conditions, under any criticism, I took pictures to show to other people and to have proof. You should take some measures, I don't know who allows them to operate, it should be closed and entered for renovation and toral disinfection.

GermanyIn two days I travelled from Spain to Dusseldorf to Bremen to Hamburg with delayed plane and trains and visiting family is never easy I was so happy to get to a quiet hotel surrounded by green, breakfast until 10.00, checkout 11.00. I thought a nice sleep out, breakfast at 9.30 and then shower, get ready and leave. NO. Cleaning lady knocked at 8.05......and at 8.20.....and at 8.45........and at 9.10........GRRRR There are no "do not disturb" signs for the door And obviously 99% of guests leave early. At 10.00 there was only Luke warm water in the shower..........
Great location, comfortable room and was amazed and very happy to find an ashtray on the fire escape with easy access. Thank you. Breakfast even for a vegan was ok and the coffee good :-)

PolandIn generall there is nothing bad in hotel ;-) stuff is nice, all is ok. I think if you will work a bit on the breakfast everybody will be really happy.
So the breakfast, is just ok. Plus for good coffe mashine, fresh scumbled eggs, and fried eggs, butrest of the products are rather low quality. When You stay longer in the hotel the breakfast became boring. Well, It is not bad, but definitly can be better. Rest is also ok rooms are spacious, rather clean. There is no problem to park cars, even big vans.
