Breakfast could have had more choice and variety

The hotel is in a lovely location about a 10 minute walk from the town, the veiws from our room were amazing. Our room was first class, spotlessly clean and twice the size of a normal hotel room, the steam room shower and jacuzzi bath were a big bonus. The owner was friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in reccomending this hotel to anyone staying in Berchtesgaden.

The room was a bit warm at night, but it was warm during our stay (about 28 degrees C during the day). A fan would have been nice.

The view is unearthly! Top-flight amenities, great breakfast, super comfortable. Roomy, relaxing, we spent as much time as possible enjoying the 180-degree view from the wraparound balcony.

The property itself was fine however the roads leading up to it are very narrow and quite harrowing for those unused to driving in Europe ( little tip - there are almost no one way streets in Berchtesgaden, and there was almost no traffic around the hotel ). Also the internet was really intermittent and I’m not really if that was due to the mountains, weather or router

Fantastic rooms with wonderful vistas. Large, warm and comfortable with amazing bathrooms ( the shower is quite funky and doubles as a steam room ). The minibar was great value being marginally more than you would pay in a supermarket The breakfast was tasty and the coffee good

Located on top of a hill, a VERY steep climb if on foot. Breakfast buffet only fair.

The drive up the mountain roads can be tricky - but worth it for the view and the outstanding hotel!

This hotel is outstanding. I wouldn’t stay anyplace else in the Berchtesgaden area! The view is outstanding, the rooms are excellent, the hospitality is above and beyond. We especially loved the steam showers and comfortable well appointed rooms. It was cozy and exceptionally clean.

Everything was nice but the parking is downhill and you have to carry your luggage upstairs so it will be hard for people with limited mobility

The house is beautiful and the location is lovely. The breakfast was a bit weird - you had to point to what you wanted and the lady would serve you. I think maybe this was a Covid precaution but a bit odd as we didn't encounter that anywhere else in Germany or Austria.

Nothing as such related to the property itself, but if you are travelling with heavy luggage then you should book a taxi from railway station to avoid uphill walk, and there is only one restaurant near the hotel which closes by 9pm, so plan accordingly.

It was true value for money, best place to have a social medium or online streaming detox break. Just relax and enjoy the panoramic view, listen to the birds, see the mountains change colours, hear the rain on wooden roof and simple immerse yourself in the heavenly environment.

Our room was genuinely unique! First impression was simply WOW! The balcony and the view was simply breathtaking. The host has put so much effort into the overall design of the interior. We were very much pleased to stay in such a stylish hotel.

Trying to find the hotel is a challenge. Our GPS did not get us there, and we had to call the hotel to help us find it. Once we found it, it was easy to find again. The hotel is high on a hill in what looks like a residential development. There are many tiny, twisty roads, if you are taking your own car. We recommend you have a map in addition to your GPS and the phone number in case you need it.

The view from the room was outstanding. The apartment was nice and large, especially when compared to some of the hotels we stayed in. An electric kettle and teas were included which was very welcome after a long day of touring. Our host was very nice and provided a traditional breakfast.

Lovely room - great breakfast. Big comfortable room. Owner lovely and so helpful. Guest cards for local transport good. About 15 min walk to town or to train station. Walk is uphill so on arrival suggest using a taxi if you have bags. Walk back easy as all downhill

Arrived to checkin and advised we were too early. When we asked about our room we were told it was up 1 level. We asked about elevator and she replied they had none. We advised of physical limitations prevented us from using stairs and she replied (rudely) all ground floor units were already reserved….you should have asked at time of reservation. I advised her we did! We have never stayed at a hotel without an elevator or ground floor unit because of physical limitations in recent years. To call this place a “hotel” is way off base, a bed & breakfast is more appropriate, and a terrible one at that!
