Breakfast was good

On arrival we had every intention of booking for breakfast, but the lobby had an awful drain type smell. This put us off as the breakfast is served just off the Reception/ Lobby area. The smell remained for several hours and was still there when we returned on the night. The parking is 12 euros, which for a hotel carpark is a bit much to expect guests to pay. The lift door in the lobby didn't close properly, but somehow still worked. once we got to our floor, it was a noticeably clean, fresh, smell. Bathroom light switch very temperamental and although the bathroom and room were clean, there were a couple of dust balls on the bedside cabinet. It was interesting to note that when we left the following morning, the persistent unpleasant smell was gone.

Room was a good size with all you would expect. Parking is on site. Good value for money.

There wasn't any free parking space on the premises. Luckily, there was a free carpark across the road.

The address of the hotel in automatic calendar placeholder from booking is different than it actually is. The hotel is located just outside Hanover, while the Booking app gives address in Hanover. It is about 15 km away, so no huge deal, but still...

The lady who worked night shift was not very helpful, as our motorcycle did not trigger the gate for the parking.

The price was very good. The free parking for motorcycle was very nice. The location was perfect for a quick stay before continuing to Switzerland.

Great value for money and great connection to the S-Bahn to take you to the main locations. We stayed for a concert and it only took 1/2hr to get to the Heinz von Heiden arena which was great. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

The quiet location was great! The staff at check in very friendly and helpfull. Check out staff also friendly! Loved having a kettle in the room (seemingly something Europe is not big on 😄)

There were no sockets next to the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable as I couldn't use my apnea machine, phones had to charge away from the bed, and one of the lights over the bed didn't work, but these issues did not severely impact our recommendation of the hotel.

Dated fit out: only 2 power sockets in the entire room and none near the night stand, constructions left overs stored in lobby (carpet), room doors without acoustic properties (arriving guests kept me awake all night), sink almost broken off…

One of our bathrooms smelled a bit of old & cold cigarette smoke, which we didn‘t liked. And two of us hit their head on the night lights by accident as they are on an unusual position.

Location is super, everything necessary right there or around the corner, good connection to the tram network and the price for a bed is fair

Restaurant was closed on our arrival which was a disappointment.

Ugly view though the windows. No air conditioning, therefore it was very hot in the room. And the blankets could be used in the winter (thick). 😁 There were two pillows, but both were uncomfortable. Personel at the reception is not flexible: the hotel did not seem very crowded, but we couldn't get two room next to each other, it seemed as personel had exactly those rooms prepared and did not want to change anything. Therefore we (4 family members, 2 at each room) needed to sleep at different floors. Next time we will definitely not forget to write our preferences.
