How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Maybe noisy due to its location (next to tram road) but after long exploring day you can still sleep like a baby. For me it was fine.

When we arrived, their parking garage was full...but we parked on the opposite side of the street at IBIS hotel - 19€/24h.
Location is gret. Very peacful quarter, 15 min walk to Marienplatz. If you want to move around with thw tram, the station it's just outside when you step out on the street.

Location on the loud street with tram, rooms facing the main street are loud.
Nice room, very clean, very good breakfast (simple but good quality), central location, nice walking distance to the old town, good choice of restaurant in the neighborhood.

Very nice breakfast buffet, but it was slightly overpriced.

My bed has been fixed daily, but the bed sheets have never changed during my 8 night stay. The towels changed only if you left it on the floor, even if it were obviously not clean. The cleaning in the room was not always made thoroughly... I have experienced some pretty strong noise during late evening hours , sometimes in the morning... No music channels, no variety of English channels as well. (I used only Chanel 44, which is a local radio, with a nice song selection).
The location is near the city center. There are tram station near by. Metro station is in a short walking distance. Not far from the main train station. The size of the room was great. The bathroom is compact but functional. Good water pressure. There is a safe and a mini fridge in the room. The receptionists were polite and attentive.

The neighborhood is maybe not the best but not even the worst. The biggest problem unfortunately is the tram's noise, day and night. My room was on the first floor and it was quite loud. I suggest to take earplugs with you.
Nice hotel, clean and spacious room and bathroom. Good location to reach München's main attractions and historic center, also on foot.

Street noise! (I suppose it might not be as bad if not on the street side...) Uncomfortably hot in the room on a warm (not hot) spring day, better with the window open, but street noise worse! Seedy neighborhood.
Attractive room, comfortable beds, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, close to the central station and old town.

Would have liked a kettle to remain in the room. Trams were a bit noisy, but got used to them by the second night.
The breakfast was superb, tasty and healthy, excellent menu. City Centre, station and galleries all within walking distance.

They said our car is too big (VW Passat), so we needed to park across the street, in a different hotel parking. It was only 2 Euros more expensive, which is not that bad, but it affected the overall experience slightly.
Location was great, and the room was very clean.
