How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Paid for breakfast for 3 day stay but last day at 8:00am there was hardly no breakfast left (no eggs,no bread etc) other two day s more than enough

Good location. About 15 minutes from train station and old town. A lot of restaurants very close and small shop 20 meters from door. Very peacefull. Decent breakfast.

The only thing is that they don't have their own wifi, you need to connect to a server, some hotels do that but i'm not a fan
The location is very central, the room was clean and the staff, especially the lasy from the front desk is really kind, pro and helpful! The real deal!! Thank you

Nothing, it was great
Spacious and clean room and location is pretty decent. Very close to the station and not far to the old town. Would recommend for solo travellers looking for a tidy option for a few nights. Staff also very polite and helpful regarding any questions.

Two of the lights did not work, and were awkwardly placed above the headboard. The pillow offered no support to my head and neck and I was disappointed not to find other pillows in the room. The shower cabin was quite small.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Communications were clear and pleasant. They were happy to store my luggage after checkout so I could enjoy my day walking the city.

Guests should consider they are in a hotel where some people sleep at wee hours or in different time zones. So if u drink a lot, know ur voice can distract people. Know that when u talk/sing at wee hours, u distract people too. Mind that this is not your own personal space. Be considerate!

The room I had, had a very steep set of steps that would be difficult for an average person to go up.
Great location within walking distance to main attractions, "Oud Statdt", Jumbo, Bike hire and train station. Has a restaurant and bar on site. Room was large, comfortable had a fridge and private bathroom. Due to the steep exchange rates when travelling from foreign countries this was the better value.

The bed was a bit too firm for my personal preference.
The staff who checked me in was very nice and helpful! I arrived before check-in started and she gave me access to the wifi while she checked if my room was ready. It was so she let me check in early so I could leave my bags in my room. The location and size of the room was great!

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. The bed was very firm and could have done with extra pillows.

The elevator only goes to the 6th floor and we were on the 7th with 2 kids, bags and a stroller (and we pack light) it was just a nuisance because of the stroller more than anything. My bed was hard and the pillow was somehow harder so quite uncomfortable, kids slept fine. Cold tap water was very warm, not really a problem but not great when you want to fill a bottle and drink it right away. Not sure if that’s a Düsseldorf thing or the hotel.
Good location, very friendly staff willing to help out. Got us checked in early and stored our bags after arriving from our overseas flight. Very close to a giant grocery store (mostly where we get our food while travelling) and quite close to Konigsalle and a great enclosed park for the kids.

Everything in the hotel corresponds to the description. But it would be very convenient if there was a kettle in the room.
The staff is fantastic. They arranged early check-in and a room comfortable for work. The location of the hotel is very convenient - a few minutes from the train station and about the same distance from the shopping center of the city. There are several Asian food cafes and a large supermarket near the hotel.
