The water from the shower splashes everywhere to the floor as there is no proper water separator from the rest of the bathroom. No fridge on the room.

Limited equipment in the fitness room. Breakfast variety was not much. We missed a small refrigerator in the room.

The rooms are a good size with the space needed to move in for the stay. The sports area and spa were excellent and cleaned daily. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect to explore the area.

If you are more than 165cm, avoid 3rd floor rooms at all. The balcony door has just 165cm, for real. I cann't even remember how many times i hit my head there. The balcon itself allows at mx 180cm height. lower floors are probably better. There is no toothcup or any glass in the bathroom. The room service is like 1-2x per week ? Not an issue for me but you should be aware.

The rooms are good, if you are there just for sleep, breakfast is pretty standard, as many people wrote already, scrambled eggs are of your own making, evening it is possible to get there some light dinner. Staff is good. The locality is probably the best thing about this hotel. There is lot of options around for which you don't even need to move by car, you can start right at the hotel. It is also probably the cheapest hotel around. Given the price it is good choice.

Some partnerships with local bicycle and walking gear shops would be good. I was directed to Intersport in Konigsee, but actually the sport shop at the Jennerbahn has more choice.

Good sport and family hotel, clean rooms and a lot of breakfast options. For cyclists, there are great secure lockers to keep your bikes and gear overnight.

Breakfast options were too limited - even basics as scrambled eggs or sousages were missing. Tea and coffee besides breakfast time is for money. Cup of hot water for tea - 4€, really? Cleaning was just replacing towels, no vacuuming. No refrigerator in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the mountains. My room was quite large, but with a low ceiling and poor lighting. The breakfast was good and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I will stay in the same hotel if I decide to come again.

Location is great - very near to Königsee with access to bus lines. Staff was friendly and gave us awesome tips about restaurants in the near. We also enjoyed the sauna area after a tough hiking day! We'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Overall my experience at the Explorer Hotel is great. The breakfast idea is amazing. The room although is small but its well maintained and clean. Staff is friendly and approachable. I highly recommend the hotel.

Vegan options for breakfast were a bit limited. Adding some vegan cheese, sausages, yogurt or peanut butter would help. Waiting times (e.g. at reception or when ordering drinks) sometimes too long.

Sauna and fitness could be opened for longer; There could be a small kit with shampoo, cream and other utilities in the room.

The food at breakfast and at the restaurant is very good; The view is very nice; It's very clean.

If possible, I advise you to book room not on the top floor - the roof covers part of the window and the view.

Great location, clean, staff speak English well. There are in- and outdoor parking. Very comfortable bad and well-designed and thought-out room. Special thank for the possibility of accommodation with a dog. For an additional fee (10 euros) and on the condition that you bring a bed for your dog. Unfortunately we arrived late and did not have time to visit spa, but we had time to drink coktails at the bar on the first floor.

2 of the rooms that we booked has some water flow issues at bath area. Water flow out very slow. One of the room encountered encountered waste water flow backwards to the bath area.

Room is spacious and comfortable. Location is good within walking or drive to nearby attraction and restaurant. We like the breakfast. Cook our own eggs. Food there also reasonable pricing.
