The ground floor door requires a little bit of finesse to open and the shower in the room has a slanted ceiling so it's a bit hard to stand. Got used to these things quickly though.

Lovely private guest room in the Hellweger's family home. The location was great with some parking available on the neighborhood street. It's a very cute spot to stay near the mountains.

Parking situation could be challenging even during low season: There's only street parking and though it's free, it's densely parked. As this hotel is very far from ski lifts, you can only use your car to get there. And having your car parked far away is not very convenient as you need to load and unload all the equipment every day.

This has nothing to do with the apartment itself, but I think it’s important to note that it is about 20 mins walking from the train station. During our stay the busses were very infrequent and unreliable - therefore, I think a car is necessary to stay here comfortably.

The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing! Beds are comfortable and plenty of space for the whole family. Walking distance to Wank Bahn station. Very authentic experience.

It's not a meaningful negative comment because it is not a big deal - the only improvement would be to have a parking space. It is street parking and most often than not, you get to park right in front or a house or two away. It was annoying to park 2 blocks away late one night when needing to carry three toddlers up to the house. This is the only thing in my opinion that could be improved - but again, it's not an actual issue.

The location of this apartment was perfect - 10 minute walk to Ludwigstraße in Partenkirchen and the restaurants and shops. We had both apartments for our family of 5, with each having its own bathroom and balcony. The views from the balconies are amazing. The apartment has everything you need to a comfortable stay - tv, wifi, large refrigerator, large dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, as well as cooking and cleaning items. Behind the home is a bike path and it's an easy walk or quick car ride to the Wank bahn station. The beds were very comfortable and we were very relaxed in the home.

Highly recommend this apartment. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Anything we asked for, we got promptly. Good location with lovely walking trails literally outside the back door. Lots to see and do in the area. You would probably need a car in this location as it's just a little far to walk to town and the weather is changeable.

The host is very friendly and personable. He's deeply involved in the local community and local cultural associations. We had some enjoyable conversations where he told us about Partenkirchen and surrounding area. The apartment is spaceous and cozy, with solid wooden furniture, kitchen fully equipped and very comfortable beds. We were there with two three adults, a toddler and a dog, and it still felt like a palace. We couldn't praise this apartment more and would love to come back one day.

Felt like an authentic bayerisch house. The hosts were very welcoming and caring. It was quite rainy and they also gave us their umbrellas to use for our stay. We were given tips on how to get around and small routes to the bus stops, whether it's worth visiting Zugspitze in the bad weather or not and so on. The apartment was itself very cozy and perfectly separated with two bedrooms & two bathrooms for a family.

We arrived quite a bit later than expected, almost midnight, and we weren't sure how to access the unit, so there was a little confusion because we didn't want to disturb anyone who might be sleeping and the property was quite dark. However, the host arrived shortly thereafter to help us out, and she was so kind, even given the late hour, which we really appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at this Ferienwohnung in Partenkirchen. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with a lot of space for our family of four. We loved the big table in the kitchen for meals, the cozy carpets and bedding, and the view of the Alps just outside our windows. We had the unit on the 1st floor (2nd floor for Americans); it had a full wraparound balcony with plenty of chairs with which to enjoy the view. The hosts are were lovely, helpful, and kind - they gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and even the best way to drive back home. We slept very well with no street noise and great beds. And finally, the location is perfect - so many activities and restaurants within a 15-minute drive, bus ride, or walk.
