Some rooms (like mine) have no view. The hotel listing and E-Mails prior to check-in mentioned that snacks and drinks are in the lobby refrigerator, but it didn't mention that they are not complimentary. The fact that there is a charge is fine, my only unhappiness ist that that was a surprise.

The hotel is located directly across from the most famous church in Schwäbisch hall. The building and surrounding buildings are half-timbered houses and very attractive. The hotel reception was very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Hairdryer burnt out every 3 mins. So couldn’t dry hair which is a nightmare when you have long hair. Water charges we felt high

I was not satisfied with the single room provided. The room was very small, and the bed felt like it was for a child. The room appeared outdated and required renovation. Additionally, there was no fridge, which was disappointing given the price I paid. I had expected better accommodations.

The Hotel has a great location right in the middle of the city, and everything is conveniently located around the corner. Additionally, there is parking available right in front of the Hotel.

No A/C which is needed badly on hot summer days. Furniture is old and run down. Bathroom extremely small with broken shower head that kept falling off its holder. The breakfast and cafe next door were closed our entire stay.

The property was advertised as having a bar. In reality, this was just a fridge that you could purchase a drink from.

No in room fridge and microwave oven. TV was in only German and I don’t speak or understand German. 😔 No restaurant as per the website. Website should contain correct information. No 24hrs reception was inconvenient and scary.

After the booking, I got tons of emails with almost the same information. The hotel sent emails literally every hour, which is really annoying... The sound proof is also bad. I can hear the guy next door snoring and in the early morning I was waken up by the talking and footsteps in the hallway.

the location is great. The town is small and one can reach all the places on foot. The room is compact with everything you need, especially a capsule coffee machine. The building looks quite vintage but the inside is nicely renovated. The check-in and check-out was easy and quick.

Online check-in. Very little contact with staff. Too many emails reminding about check-in, check-out etc.

There was nothing wrong with the room. Value for money was the best for Schwäbisch Hall but this does not mean it was good.

The bed was squeaky so we could not sleep. Each time someone rolled to the other side it made a noise. The room was also a bit cold - the bathroom was ok! Also the Greta poster, it has a nice message on it, but it does not suit the interior of the hotel, the atmosphere and overall theme of the hotel. Frankly it annoyed me so much I am using my time to write about it here. Take her down and leave the environment message - im sure there are local figures more appropriate to use on that poster.

We enjoyed all the information we received prior to our arrival. There is a public parking space right up front. We had a late arrival but everything was set up before for us. Very convenient. There is coffee machine in the room, which is a nice touch. The room was clean. Would recommend for a shorter stay.

Property was close to downtown. When Covid canceled my 2020 trip, Hotel Scholl refunded my deposit. Hotel Goldener Adler kept my 900 Euro deposit.

I wished there was a small fridge in the room. This is a personal opinion, but I thought the paint color in our room was pretty bad (pea greenish yellow) - the room would have been beautiful in a more neutral shade.

The man who checked us in was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. He was really great - even helped me with my bags. The building is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Although there was no air conditioning and the weather was warm, our room was cool and comfortable. I would happily stay there again.
