Great location, small car park opposite the hotel, nice clean room, tea and condiments - all you need. It is not a grand hotel, but essentially very good. We didn't order breakfast, not many people seemed so. The receptionist said, if you want breakfast, they will need to go to the first. Fair enough. Some may opt for that, though that was noy our choice. It also important to remember room prices are all up in Rothenburg. So, no point in complaining about that, however lower you want the fees to be. The place and the demand dictate their fees.

The receptionist knocked in our room to ask us if we wanted breakfast and we asked her if it was free twice and she said yes both times but at the checkout a different person did charge us for it, I explained them the situation and what we were told but that made no difference. I want to believe it was just a misunderstanding.

Tiny room with a pretty good view and a nice shared balcony, was cosy and quite nice, can’t ask more for the price.

We were upgraded to a room with balcony which overlooked the beautiful hillside and parts of old town wall. The room was decorated well, and the bathroom was great. It's in old town so you're right in the heart of a fairytale village, close to everything. It is seconds away from the lamdmark Plönlein so you can see it without any tourists. Parking outside is free after 6pm until 9am.

Would have been great if they provided breakfast facilities on the premises although there were places to eat less than 50 metres up the road.

Very central in the old walled city. Oktay our host was very friendly and helpful. We had wonderful views of the valley from our window and even though we were there for one if the biggest town festivals, our room was very quiet. Everything was within walking distance.

This hotel does not offer breakfast, but we went down the street 20 meters and had a sumptuous one for 10 euros/person at the Hotel/Cafe Uhl. We had requested rooms on the first floor, and we were able to have those. There is no parking allowed inside the city, other than you have a handicapped sticker, or your hotel offers parking - so make sure you check when you book. There is a little bar in the main floor, and the proprietor has chairs and tables on the sidewalk in front so you can sit and have a coffee /snack or beer. We wanted to stay at that specific end of the inner city - Spitalgasse, as it has a very imposing city gate, and gorgeous views of the river valley Tauber.
