Clean, tidy Ibis hotel, short walk from the main railway station. We had a late arrival time so having 24-hiur check in really helpful. Breakfast was good. Helpful to be able to leave our luggage after check out. Within walking distance of the main sights of Dresden.

The room is a bit on the small side-okay for a couple nights, but not for a longer stay. E.g. no sitting chair or desk. The breakfast was on the high price side for a buffet and the room seemed geared to large groups. No wash cloths, you'll need to bring your own.

For train travelers, the location couldn't be better-5 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof(train station). The room was clean and functional. The staff was friendly and were able to help with our requests. They allowed us to keep our suitcases in their safe room most of the day as our train departed Dresden late in the afternoon. It is right on the Prager Strasse shopping mall/strip which has several lower cost eateries. It is close to the tram which is handy and inexpensive for getting to the Old City where a good portion of the sights and restaurants are located.

The pillows were very thin. There was no shampoo, only body/hair liquid soap 😖, and any of the amenities. Any fridge or frigobar at the room, I’d really love to have something to prepare a quick coffee or tea I the room.

The room was pretty big and comfortable. The room was cleaned every day of our stay.

Super unstable elevator that shook alarmingly after the 6th floor. The carpet was very dirty and stained in the room. The pillows on the bed were so small and flat, not great. The shower had mold in it. I just didn't feel like the room was very clean and it made the stay very unpleasant.

The hotel is in a good location, close to shopping and food. Quite touristy though. Loved the window in the room, great view and let in a lot of air. The room was a good size.

the restaurant staff was rude and wanted to charge us for asking for hot water. I have never seen any place like this. we didnt expect that there will be charges so we did not bring down the cash. and their response I quoted “this is not their problem”. I’m not sure if the management is aware of this behaviour in their hotel.

the reception team are very helpful and nice. They really did the extra mile to make sure that we are happy.

While the location was close to old town, I felt like I should be very aware of my surroundings while walking back at night. I also have to share a complaint and give those who read this a heads up: This hotel consists of two buildings and I was NOT told that during check in. So when I finished my day of sight seeing and came back, I went into the wrong building, went to the 14th floor and my key did not work. Long story short, some ladies came in as well and made the same mistake and when we picked up the phone in the "lobby" the employee was rude and when we went to the correct building we were spoken to as if we were stupid. I won't stay here again because of that.

Clean room, decent location. Not a far walk to the amazing old town area. The bathroom was spacious and had a good shower. Worth the money especially considering what Dresden has to offer.

No fridge, air conditioning couldn't keep up with the worst of the summer 2022 heat wave. Elevators could have used some optimization.

Hotel was full of all kinds of groups of people - from young 20ish party goers till 65+ seniors - all of these groups were partying in their own way which sometimes did interfere with the people trying to get a calm stay in the hotel..

- breakfast for the price (15EUR/person) could be better - found 2 small cockroaches in the bedroom and in the bathroom - very inefficient lifts, especially when many trips arrive
