We had a room on the front and there was a lot of road noise. There were not enough staff to have a timely dinner service and the menu choices were limited compared to previous years. The hotel prices have also increased. Disappointing compared to past experience. We also noticed many more people smoking around the property and also at breakfast. They were in the outside area but this meant we could not enjoy breakfast outside.

This is our 5 th time here on our annual holiday with the dog. Great location.

Wouldn't mind having a mini fridge and a trash can in the room. Double check the times for the sauna- the elevator sign says it closes at 8pm, the hotel info pamphlet says 9pm.

Wow- what a beautiful hotel! The decor is outstanding and so unique! I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay in May 2023. Breakfast was typical German fare but replenished often. Don't worry about coming down late and missing all the food. I explored the sauna though I didn't use it. Very peaceful and beautiful. Ate in the restaurant one night and in the biergarten the next day. Went for a beautiful hike from the hotel on a well sign posted trail- Rundweg Kleinkemnet. Absolutely silent at night- no sound from the neighbors. Nice amenities in the room- apple juice, bottled water and combo soap/shampoo. Great value for money. Big parking lot was used the entire weekend- this is a popular place to stop for a meal! Will definitely be staying here again.

Breakfast sheet ordering instead of buffet, uncomfortable asking staff for general items instead of self-service.

Charming room, clean and rustic, well-appointed. Very comfortable bedding, thoughtful amenities. Restaurant downstairs, beer and hearty meals available. Within steps to the brewery and stunning monastery church.

Just one thing in the restaurant on the ground floor. The food we ordered had been cooked beforehand, the Haxe was totally dry and spoilt. As for the hotel, everything was top quality.

It is a very quiet place, an old building (17th century with redbrick walls) newly redecorated with a lot of style and love to detail. Even at low temperatures outside (minus 7) our room was very warm and comfortable.The breakfast exceeded our expectations. In the evening we used the sauna and the restaurant downstairs. We are very, very satisfied with everything. Highly recommended

It is a very interesting building, an old monastery but very well maintained. When we were there on a Monday night it was very busy but the service and food were very good. There is outdoor dining or drinks all day. Also dog friendly, we had a room that opened straight outside and good walks from there.

The staff were a bit on the gruff side but not unfriendly.

The room was great and it wasn't tiny. The walls are massive and I loved the brick masonry and the huge wooden timbers.

Really fun place to see regular folk hang out. Room was very comfortable. There is a quirky Beer Museum next door.
