This Gasthof is worth a detour because of its excellent restaurant, not very expensive. Room was clean and spacious. large enough. Slept well, quiet area. Excellent breakfast.. Friendly service oriented staff. Very good value for money.

You get more than you pay for. Calm rural location, very quiet. No frills, but very clean room and bathroom with everything you need. Slept well. Absolutely excellent breakfast and dinner. Nice staff. Will stay again if in the area. Alles war sehr gut.

The (bed) pillows were very flat and fluffy, which we had to fold up to provide some more substance, but still too thin. Management is recommended to provide thicker pillows in the room-closet. so customers can use it if desired.

My wife and I have stayed here before (two years ago) and we decided to stay here again because this hotel met all our expectations, then and now. Good location especially when one visits the Emil Nolde Museum. Excellent restaurant with good quality at very reasonable prices (at least compared to my home-country The Netherlands). Excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice of food, including boiled and scrambled eggs, good quality coffee in a thermos and excellent Assam tea. The room offered everything that we needed for an over-night stay. Plenty of free parking, free WiFi, free bottle of sparkling water and two chocolates, etc.

One of my go-to places to stay when I travel to/from Germany by car, it is located in a very calm village while still near the border, not much of a detour if one crosses thru Denmark an much better and cheaper than a lot of other hotels in this part, also features a excellent on-site restaurant with again decent prices and very good food, great breakfast in the morning as well, rooms are nice and comfortable while not very modern

Nothing could have been better for us.

I have stayed at the Fegetasch several time before, so we knew it was a vey good hotel. It was as expected excellent.

Well...finding the place was a bit of a problem. Booking.com is not easily showing the street address and without that and a navigator I would never have found it.

Great food a a reasonable or even low price. A very nice bed, I slept very well. Very friendly staff - sehr vielen Dank !

After crossing Denmark by bike and being constantly shocked at the prices, this hotel and restaurant was dream for the budget conscious traveller. The room was very nice, quiet, and clean. The restaurant offers delicious and copious food for very reasonable prices. The staff was friendly, and the hotel is just around the corner for the Emil Nolde museum. Certainly worth a trip. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay, good hotels in this area are not that abundant and especially not to this price, but this one is truly a hidden gem, calm location and very nice room in a separate building from the restaurant (this is good) and abundant parking right in-front, food in restaurant very good and inexpensive and superb breakfast, room was very nice with a old styled but comfortable furniture. Very friendly staff that also on their own accord changed the charged rate from the three bed room we had booked (was the only one left and we were fine with that rate) to the lower rate of a two bed room, that was very kind!
