A German friend had confirmed via telephone that I would be travelling with three dogs and she had told me that I would pay an additional 15 euro for the dogs. I had asked on my booking to be close to reception. When I arrived, the room I was directed to was not really suitable to get to with my dogs - it was up an open metal staircase, like a fire escape and then through another locked door to get to the room down a corridor. None of my three dogs would walk up the stairs and clearly being on my own I did not have an option for help. However, when I explained to the owner she gave me a basement room, which whilst it did not have a window was much cooler for me and the dogs and I had a nice nights stay. When I went to pay I was told the rate for the dogs was 24 euro.

There was plenty of space to walk my dogs next to the hotel and I was directed to a nice little bar serving food for the evening. Breakfast had a good choice. There was also a petrol station opposite and a lady selling meats in a deli by the property.

I urgently needed to rest after exosting drive. I find this silence place with a small clean room, end a small restaurant with excelent food. The best spent 55 euro, for the room and 30 euro for the dinner.

No Air Con means that electric fans would have been suffice. Whilst in the breakfast room, I would recommend a flat screen TV. Or at least a radio with a little low volume music to fill the room with something other than whispers and clinking cutlery from other guests.

There's nothing to dislike about this place. Maybe there could have been bread for breakfast but the viennoiserie was fresh and delicious, so it's all fine.

A green, peaceful oasis after the grey and noisy Autobahn. The 24/7 shop at the hotel, where you note down on paper what you took from the shelves and leave your cash in a community box, is a reminder of old times when honesty was still the norm. Besides, waking up at the noise of birds, with a view to an archetypical Bavarian landscape, what a pleasure.

Everything was just what was needed after I had been travelling for 16 hours.

Brilliant host and superb location in the countryside. Easy to get to. Fabulous breakfast from 7am.

Room was extremely basic and whole place very run down. The older man serving dinner was extremely rude and sat playing cards leaving customers waiting. Asked for a sweet and he just said "no" and walked off. When we wanted to pay by card he was very unhappy.

Poor service in the restaurant. The wife doing all the work, the man chatting on the terrace with villagers. Had to wait 10 min for a menu, another 10 to order. The man seems not to care too much about service. I used to come here often, but I am afraid this was last time...
