The room was a bit small for the price, but the photos and descriptions are honest so I knew in advance what I am booking. There's not much soundproofing between the hallway and the room which can be annoying for late risers.

Very friendly staff, complementary ice tee and sweets - a lots of sweets actually and we even got two small bounty bars when we checked out.

Noise at night bitj in the courtyard and inside late in the night, rude clients & neighbours i suppose. A huge van was parked just in front of the courtyard entrance during my whole stay, not nice to mor’ve around with the luggage.

Breakfast, rooms, all great Bathroom somewhat small, complicated parking (but available), sfaff not fully proficient in foreign languges (and my German is rusty).

If I was being fussy we could have done with a kettle in the room for baby formula but there was a communal coffee machine that also dispensed hot water

Breakfast was outstanding! We also enjoyed the "honor" beverage center and community atmosphere. Each evening we gathered in the common area to have a drink and dessert and some conversation. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us two great restaurant recommendations.

Well placed hotel close to train station and old Lübeck. We were here on a rainy day, so happy for the big screen. A real plus with free coffee and a free candy ... yes free candy. It has a fridge with very reasonable prices for beers and soda. Friendly staff

Pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel which completely exceeded my expectations. It has a great vibe! The check-in experience was excellent, as I had a snafu with the taxi and they assisted me. The common rooms are so cozy, with games, hot tea, and comfortable seating. The breakfast was fabulous, you can tell that the staff really cares about presenting their guests with quality food in a cozy environment. Everything is so clean and organized. There are little touches everywhere that shows they care. I loved the delicious coffee, breads, fruit and eggs. The room was thoughtfully designed, with chargers where you need them and a comfy bed. The lobby candy bar is so fun. They even have bikes you can borrow. If you can't tell, I loved this place!

The hotel was comfortable and had a nice lounge area. The situation was very convenient for the altstadt, being just outside the old city walls. Breakfast was excellent with a comprehensive choice, although not a cheap price. We expected parking to be tight in this part of the town, but it was actually very convenient in individual garages, behind the hotel, housing car stackers, which were easy to drive into and out from.

It was excellent

The location is great - 5 minutes walk from the Holstentor, 10 minutes walk from the city center. The staff is very friendly! They gave us extra hot chocolate and expresso for free whatever time during the day we wanted to have it. They gave us extra cake for free. And they have a goodies station where you can help your self. It was the best experience out of the last 20 or so hotel experiences we had. We definitely would like to come back to this place.

On a busy Sunday morning the line up at the coffee machine was long and in our case in front of our table. We would have moved but with such a fine breakfast, all tables were full.

The staff were friendly and helpful and generous. We had an upgrade which is not always possible but always appreciated, many umbrellas available on loan for rainy days, colorful sweets available and instead of a stupid mini bar, drinks available in an inviting lounge on a trust basis. The owner understands that it is the kind gestures that make one want to return.

A very special and nice hotel! A lot of coosy places to sit in the reception area. Welcoming atmosphere. Nice, clean rooms. Good locations for us, with a 5 minutes walk to the the old town. We will definitely stay here again if we go to Lubeck!

A hotel with soul and warmth! The breakfast was fantastic - so much to choose from. The staff (and the two labradors) was very kind! The parking garage and free coffee was a big plus as well. Excellent location! Room and hallway was quiet. We would definitely come back.

My dog and I stayed here for one night after taking the Helsinki-Travemünde ferry, before traveling onward. The hotel was easy to reach by bus from the Travemünde harbour, and late arrival was no problem. The room was small but comfy and quiet, and the hotel very cute, my dog received a little welcome package with a dog bowl and treats which he loved. Location near the railway station and the city center was great. I also really appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee and candy (!) in the lobby.
