The staff were great. We had a great experience with Rieke who looked after us very well and gave us really good local advice and assistance with our room on checking in and also during our stay. Also Sabina was lovely during our breakfast and the other ladies were also very helpful :)

Right on the main road, no lift, rooms rather spartan.

Conveniently placed on the edge of the old town, 15 minutes walk to the Alte Brücke. Parking right at the hotel. Good breakfast. Good WiFi.

Hotel was quite far from the train station but really close to the old town. The mattress was quite hard and the bed could have been bigger.

The room was really personally furnished, we liked it. Breakfast was excellent.

No quibbles whatsoever

City stays can sometimes be problematic especially with motorcycles and parking and being in a place where you can spend sometime visiting - you arrive late and then find there is a long walk. Montpti is very well positioned for visiting everything you need to in the City on a short stay. Yes it is a next to a busy road but that had n impact on us. Once you have worked out how the door locks work the room was fine and the breakfast was great happily return if we ever decided to pass through Heidelberg again. We felt that the hotel was good value.

As a senior lady, two flights of stairs with heavy suitcase was hard. thankfully I had help carrying it up, and think the young lady would have helped bringing it down. Just be aware. the way the beds are situated on a platform, and thus low, makes it a little difficult getting up if you are older and not so flexible.

The disadvantage is a busy road it faces and small windows at the third floor. The design idea is interesting, but the building requires renovation. It is sort of dusty.

I nice place although needs renovation. Fairly good breakfast. Conveniently located. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I booked last-minute and it all went well.

Even though I am not like a person who always seeks comfort for a low price, but the pillows were awful and total disaster. Everything else perfect!

The location was great! Hotel has a small parking area and nearby there is a parking place as well which is quite nice. Breakfast was also superb and very friendly staff!

Breakfast was excellent. You can eat all what you want.( eggs, cereal, salat, croissants)

The shower doesn’t have a door and the water spills out on the floor outside, which makes it dangerous for a person to slip on the floor and fall. No extra pillows in the room to exchange the one that was completely worn out.

I disliked the shower which didn't have a glass door protection or the like to prevent the water from flooding the toilet floor...otherwise, it was conceived to look elegant to the smallest details....

The location is perfect . It is a hotel with character, with elegant amenities and finishings and extremely kind staff .

We stayed on the first floor and could hear the passers-by on the street.

Excellent location-- it was super close to the main street in the old city. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Parking situation: if we arrived a minute later we would have not gotten a spot. Rooms had outside noise from the road and building being hit by wind. Stairs felt unsafe. Room was very basic

Location in relation to Schloss Heidelberg and Altstadt walking is good. People were friendly. Breakfast was serviceable but in a cramped environment.
