Nothing really - the lift area on the 1st floor was a bit dark and would have been better if it was brighter but it didn’t affect our stay badly at all, so it’s nothing.

The location was just in front of a tram stop less than 10min from the central station. In the middle of the beautiful shops/restaurants area but not noisy at all as the hotel building is not directly facing the Main Street. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent.

The safe was defect and could not be repaired during my stay (5 days). Probably due to the Easter holidays. There was no elevator to my room. No problem for me, but worth mentioning. There is the elevator access to other rooms, so mind when booking.

The location was excellent. A building with history (Voltaire) situated in the Innenstadt, just few walking minutes from the historical center . The room was exact for the lone traveller, quiet, clean. The bathroom spacious enough, shower cabin one could turn around. Have not tried the breakfast, becuse there was a excellent Bio-Backerei near the entrance

The art work in the hotel is really very insulting to woman. I don't care if it is in the hall but in my room (336) in front of the bed was a very violent depiction of a woman. I found it very uncomfortable and cannot imagine who would decide to put a picture like that in a hotel room.

I have stayed here 3 times and the location is wonderful and it's a very clean, comfortable and pleasant.

The bathroom was not very cleaned. At first glance, yes, but there was dirt on the faucet by the sink and in the toilet, which will remain there in case of long-term poor cleaning. equipment outdated. I would definitely not rate the hotel 4 stars.

Location, Staff, Parking,Rental Bikes, cleaningness, comfi bed

Perfect location to walk around Potsdam and close by areas. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Parking and rental Bikes weren’t expensive and we took these offers. it was quiet and bed was comfortable to have a good sleep. Only the bath rooms do need to be remodeled, but just for a couple of nights it is ok, as the whole place is clean. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Not much. Rooms could do with a little updating, carpets particularly. Couldn't work out how to heat the room, it has aircon but it cooled it down more.

Check was smooth and effiecient. Assistance with requests were no problem. Breakfast was very nice.

Room is too dark. There was no way to iron clothes. Is it possible to equip rooms with decent tea/ coffee area with kettle and cups? To find a place with plug for kettle was a challenge in my room

Location is perfect. Easy access to good food and walking areas. Bed is comfy. The room was very quite.

Our bathroom smelt like some sewage was leaking. The room was average and the bed didn’t have a sheet so all we had were the comforters. The heater was not functioning well so it was a bit cold.

There was no air conditioning, which is usually fine, but we were there in a heatwave. We did, however, find a fan in our closet, which helped a bit.

This hotel is located perfectly at the heart of 'old Potsdam' just by the Dutch Quarter. You have numerous restaurants and cafes nearby and are within walking distance of the palaces of Sanssouci & Babelsberg, 500 hectares of parkland, numerous lakes & waterways, all surrounded by endless forests. Idyllic.

Quite impersonal, aircon not working on a hot summer day quite inconvenient. Some areas and corners of room need better cleaning attention

We stayed during summer. Rooms have no AC and was very hot. The room has a fan. For a 4star hotel, seems to me that an AC in the rooms that are in the upper floors should be a must.

The hotel is made up of two buildings. The rooms in the old building, facing the street, are not connected to a cooling system (but have fences available) With no cooling system, opening the windows over night during hot periods is necessary - however the tram just passes in front of the hotel The breakfast area includes also a terrasse, however installing cutellery etc is on self service on the terrasse (while done in the inner part)

We use this hotel every time we visit Potsdam as it's location puts you right at the heart of everything.

There is no air-conditioner. The temperature outside was 29 degrees and in the room probably close to 40 :-(

The hotel is in a nice location, close to restaurants and interesting sites. Rooms are small, a bit dated but comfortable

There was no kettle in the room for hot water. The air conditioning wasn't very efficient.
