How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Check in was not very friendly. We arrived 30 minutes earlier and the room was not ready. The staff told us so quite unpleasantly. Then I decided out of curiosity after 5 minutes to try self checkin and the room was ready. Dont know what to think about it.
Great location, underground parking, perfect hot shower.

For those who prefer a completely dark room to sleep, there is a slight annoyance with the standby lights from the A/C panel that cannot be turned off.
The room was comfortable with a clean bathroom. The breakfast selection was at a good standard. The location is very convenient with easy reach to the old city, which was perfect for a city trip holiday.

Everything was ok, nothing to complain.
Location is perfect, close to all you need (shops, pharmacy etc.). Old city is at the corner. The staff was amazing, helped me a lot. Facilities was quite new and the whole impression from the Hotel was great. + Free wifi, clean and spacious room, private parking, fast self check-inn/check-out.

The room is quite small and not intended for a longer stay, but in our case, that wasn't a problem at all.
We are very satisfied with the hotel, excellent value for money. The location is good, very clean, and check-in went smoothly. A nice gesture that always pleases is the coffee in the room.

internal parking is a bit expensive, rooms do not have a minibar, which is odd.
Room: tried both standard and superior, and besides the latter was slightly bigger, the overall experience with the standard was still great. Clean, silent and confortable Position: 2 minutes by foot from the city center, the position is trategic for both travel stays and city tours. We never struggle for a parking spot around the hotel, but you can also park in the hotel garage. Breakfast: great variety and quality, super. honorable mention: 24/7 finnish sauna and gym on floor 6 are beautiful

My only complaint is the pillows were lumpy! But it didn't stop me sleeping
Excellent location for a weekend exploring, 12mins from airport and a couple of mins walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering us an early check in and secure baggage room when we checked out. Lovely room, very quiet despite being near a busy road. Really good breakfast offering in a light and airy dining room. Nice bar area and we loved the sweetie table in Reception!

At the reception, no information on the hotel facilities were given at check-in. Conflicting information on parking pricing was given. The room was basic and the closet was small.
The location is close to public transit and in walking distance to the old town. The breakfast had good variety. The staff were friendly.

The location was slightly dodgy for us ladies. In the late night it is not somewhere where I would hang around. The room was quite small and there was no place in the bathroom to put our toiletries.
It was located well. Close to the train station. We walked it to the station in around 12 minutes. The staff are also helpful.

Parking garage is expensive , very narrow and a place is not guaranteed.
Very convenient location, helpful staff at the reception. The room was small but comfy, it was nice to have a kettle and some tea provided. Good breakfast.
