How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I was on the second floor, so it was alright without an elevator, but maybe if you get higher rooms that could be a problem. Maybe they could inlcude fresh fried egs and bacon and sausages, It mostly include non perishable food.
The staff at the check in was super friendly. Its a cute little Pension house serving exactly what you would need for a short work trip. Good wifi, clean rooms and bathroom. Its in a nice quiet neighbourhood, very close to public transport.

The only problem is parking, but you can find it if you walk around a bit.
It is centrally located and was very good for a short stay.

It’s a little bit dated and the duvets and pillows showed this. There was a stale smell in the room and corridors. I find it a bit impersonal that you have to let yourself in with a code these days. Room was incredibly hot when I arrived. Had to turn heaters off that had been on even on a 27C day. Breakfast was limited continental style but bread was fresh. Milk was warm :(
Conveniently located. Physically clean, though a stale or smoky smell was sometimes noticeable in the room and corridor. Fresh bread at breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly in brief conversations.

Unfortunately there's nothing in the room, no kettle no tea nor coffee. Everything is up to charges. I needed hot water but have no access to it. The dining area is only open for breakfast so I wasn't even allowed to go and get hot water from the kitchen. The shower was bad. The water temperature was inconsistent and the flow was really low.
The staff is extremely friendly and nice, even remember their customer by name which really surprised me! Breakfast is pretty good, but not fancy. I find it really cute anyways. The serve typically bread with varieties of topping and cereal option.

We could hear easily people talking in the corridor from the room.

Unfortunately, the day I arrived the bathroom was not well cleaned from previous guests (hair on the wall & traces on the toilet seat).
It has everything it should have for a comfortable budget-friendly stay. Personnel always smiling. Continental breakfast, with all relevant options.

The room was a good clean bed and breakfast set up, equipped with the necessities. The location of the place was very optimal, with just several minutes walking distance to the city centre, and to the public transportation.

A little away from the main bahnhof but could connect via the u-bahn.
Warm and functional room. Comfy beds. Close to supermarket (just around the corner) and laundromat. Close to U1 150m away. When I asked for some hot water to make tea, I was given a kettle and two mugs - very easy. Nice breakfast.

Parking was difficult as there are no dedicated spaces for the hotel. We ended up paying 10 euro for 24hrs once we found a spot fairly close to the hotel.
The room wasn't very big, but we were only sleeping, so it wasn't much of a bother. The bathroom was small as well, but again, it didn't really matter as we expected that from an older building. Breakfast was excellent.

Accommodations a little dated but for the price it was fine.
Easy access to Central Train Station. Great breakfast included for free. And having mini bar in room at modest price was convenient.
