Just a comment- the hotel not suitable for any person with physical dissabilities. No elevator and the shower is difficult to get in and out.

The location is very central and close to the old town. Maria frome homekeepers was very quick to reply to our questions. They also allowed us to check out an hour later.

A couch or more comfortable chairs would have been good and there was plenty of space for it.

Large clean and pleasant room. Although there's no reception and I don't like this code to get in routine everything went smoothly and communication was fine. Close to restaurants, shopping centre, attractions and transport. Wűrzburg is well worth visiting.

If I could complain about something, I would say the bathroom was small, and the room window was overlooking the house next door and so I could hear them speak loudly in the morning.

Self check-in was easy, facilities were good, and location was central too. Got my checkout extended upon request.

Lovely place, as long as you can walk up the stairs
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Twin Room
    • Stayed 5 nights

More detailed information about accessibility would have been helpful; currently it just says 'upper floors accessible by stairs only', however, the entire hotel is only accessible by stairs (steps up to the main door). More information about accessibility, including number of stairs/steps, and width of stairs would be helpful. The stairs are quite narrow, and it was difficult carrying a heavy suitcase up and down, especially because there is beautiful artwork on the wall; I did see someone had knocked one down during our stay, which is not surprising given the narrow stairs. Only some of the notices in the room were translated to English - it would be good for travellers who aren't so proficient in German to have translated options available (even maybe via QR code?). The only other negative thing was that there was no tea/coffee amenities or fridge in the room - it would be nice to have a kettle and/or fridge in the room, especially as there is currently no breakfast.

I loved the location, so central to the shops and restaurants (2 min walk) and main train and bus stations (5 -7 minute walk), plus tram was even closer! You can easily walk to all of the main attractions in Würzburg city including the churches, Residenz, Bridge etc. The hotel is decorated beautifully, and wifi/bathroom amenities were great. I liked the remote check-in (you receive a msg with your code at check-in time; we arranged to arrive 1 hour earlier, and were able to call and receive our check-in from the helpful person who answered). The hotel is close to a lively area; if you leave the window open at night for air (as there is no air conditioning), it can get very noisy, but if you shut the windows, it is very quiet. Loved being above La Toska cafe - such a gorgeous cafe with lovely staff who are very helpful for tourists who speak only a little German - I hope that in the future there could be a deal between the cafe and hotel for guests.

    1) Steep stairs 3 floors. 2) There is no air conditioning. The room was under the roof - it was hot.

    1) Fast check-in. We recevied code for entrance and for the room door by mail in 1 hour. 2) Location is 5 min walk to centre. 3) Compliment - water and candy.

Check in didn’t open until 4, we arrived at 5:30 and there was no reception. I didn’t receive any details for the room and had to call. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift so a struggle with our bags.

Beds were comfortable. Parking on the street outside. Great shower. It was nice and quiet. Great restaurant just down the road.

Unfortunately there was no airco and we were there on the hottest days. It was so warm in the room that we hardly slept... with a toddler it was a real challenge. The room really needs the upgrade with airco looking at the average temperatures in Europe!

Good beds. Nice bottle of water and little sweets. Good TV. Self check in well organised. Parking and EV charger nearby. In the centre.

There was no elevator and the stairs are not that big. At night time, if you open the window you can hear the noise from the outside. They put a voucher for the cafe at the ground floor of the hotel, but when we inquired for it, according to the staff of the Café it was not coordinated to them. The hotel room is expensive for not having staff and elevator.

The Property is near the train station as well as the city center. The room paint is pleasing to eyes. They provided an electric fan since the room is not equipped with air condition. There’s a free bottled of water and chocolates.

No staff at reception. It was not clear that I wouldn't find anybody at the reception when arriving at 18 h. Didn't receive room entrance code in time, therefore I had to first call a support number to get into the hotel and room (but that lady was helpful and pleasant, see above). My room was on the third floor, (the fact that there is no elevator was not a problem for me but might be for others), was small and the ceiling appeared low. Clean but very simple for the price I paid - I expected more. I had ordered breakfast along with the overnight stay. Breakfast came as a bonus card for the Italian coffee place below. It consisted of one hot drink and one cold drink (a tiny glass of orange juice), a croissant, and dry, slightly toasted slices of white bread (probably from the day before) with a bit of jam, a slice of the simplest sort of cooked ham, cheese and salami, and a boiled egg that was almost cold. The cappuccino and the croissant were nice, there was also a spoonful (literally) of yoghurt with some berry. The rest was forgettable. To be fair, they gave me a second cup of cappuccino when I asked.

The location in the city centre is nice, with good connection to public transport. The person on the phone was helpful and pleasant, I didn't meet any other staff.
