Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomFridge didn't work and I was told that it was not a fridge. It just kept things cool. No it didn't until someone looked at it. Aircon wasn't good and even after being looked at it was no better. I emailed reception as it was the early hours of the morning when I couldn't sleep to be told I needed to go to reception and not email. In the early hours of the morning?
It was a good location but with no restaurant it was hard to find decent places to eat and drink in this area. Bar staff were really great.

United KingdomI had booked a twin bed room but when we arrived we were given a standard room, my booking through Booking.com clearly stated twin bed room. The hotel is having some work carried out and has scaffolding around part of the Hotel, our room was affected by this and it obstructed the view from our room, it would have nice to be informed of this or be assigned a different room. On our last day my Uncle stripped the beds and we found that the mattress protectors were urine stained and that the mattress itself was also urine stained. The bed sheet was clean though. This was not what I expected from this Hotel, both myself and my Uncle were quite upset to see this. I would suggest that you check the beds thoroughly before you accept any room.
The hotel location is great being close to the Wittenberg U-Bahn and also further along the road the Kaiser Wilhelm bombed out church which is well worth a visit. Across from the U-Bahn is also the Ka-De-We which is a well known high end store. Just outside the Ka-De-We are the stops for the hop[-on hop-off buses. There are two of these services one is Red and the other is the Yellow buses, we used the Yellow one which was good and took you around the main sights. I would suggest that you do some research into the other one though and see where that goes. I travelled with my Uncle and by the time we got to the Hotel we were both very tired, the Hotel has an excellent breakfast service although we tried to get something in the evening and were told that they don't do food in the evening. So you need to plan ahead for evening meals and go out, it's Ok if you like fast food but you need to search around if you want a better quality meal.

GermanyWe were not told that we got checked into handicap room. I asked before about measurements on the garage, which is VERY tight to drive in and out. The shower curtains always left a gap and there was mildew on the bottom and the shower was not cleaned on day 2 (hair still in it)
Room was big, bed very comfortable, early check in a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was immense, very well stocked. Location to public Transportation and the Metropol was very good.

MexicoThere is a small fridge in the room that barely kept things "fresh", not cold enough. Using the WiFi is cumbersome, as each client is assigned a unique username/password and there is the screen on your device to register. It gives the impression that the activities of each client could be monitored.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The climate controls allow you to set the A/C and also to turn on the floor heating in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast has many options. Friendly staff. Quick check-in. The hotel is well located, close to two metro stations and a shopping area in West Berlin.
