The hotel was very easy to find. Mettlach is small and this hotel was perfectly situated.

no Elevator in the building. I was living on the 3rd floor (2nd floor in Germany)of the hotel. when I carried down my big suitacase on the stairs, I falled down. I was lucky that I did not get injured. However, if there is a elevator. it will be much better. no electrical kettle. breakfast is simple.

location is good. in shopping area; along the river side, good view. closed to the bridge. convenient transportation. friendly service crews; Room is big enough for a family. clean; WIFI is good;

Perfect. Lovely position next to Villeroy & Boche factory shop, and near a stunning forrest viewpoint of the R. Saar. Cosy resto full of locals. Free parking.

We understood, that after covid no hotels have extra money, but it will be nice to think about some reconstuction to be more in a line with 2022.

The owner and her son were really friendly and helpful, we liked their approach a lot! Rooms were clean and the food was fine!

Perfect location on our way back from Austria. Quiet room and ok breakfast, nice staff as well. Will certainly keep this one in my mind if needed when being in the neigbourhood. Super beds as well

It was very hot during the days I stayed there and unfortunately the two ventilators that were added to the room situated under the roof did not manage to bring the temperature down.

The staff was very kind, at check-in, breakfast and dinner. It is a simple place but in a good location for the cycling trip I was planning.

The room was amazing for such an old building. Had everything we needed. Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. Very quiet even though we had the windows open throughout the night. Lunch and supper very good. Breakfast was the best that we ever had in an hotel. Bread rolls hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Buffet was amazing. We would love to spend some more time here next time.

Booked an hotel with restaurant, after al lot of research. What we got: an email that there was no check in and we must pick up our key in a box. If we wanted that kind of service, we would have booked an Airbnb. After trying to make a reservation for the restaurant, they told us the restaurant would be closed, because of a holiday earlier that week? They did not inform us about the closing of the restaurant prior and the restaurant was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, because we knew we would arrive after a long day of driving and hiking. When we arrived, it turned out there was paid parking around the hotel, they did not inform us about that eather. Took an hour of driving through te village and calling the owner of the hotel to find a parking spot. Very disappointing stay. Room is also very basic for 135 Euro a night. No fridge, no coffee or tea, no airconditioning. Very noisy, we woke up really early because of a truck in front of the hotel.
