The breakfast was simple, like most continental breakfasts in Europe. Nothing special but nice enough. We ate dinner there every night, and everything was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the house-made hazelnut schnapps. I wish I could have bought a bottle. It is 150 meters from the small village center. We had nice drinks and cakes there.

Everything was literally perfect. It Felt like all the furnishings, all the facilities and all the service had been organised with the Comfort and enjoyment of the customers in mind - from the windscreen scrapers in the Lobby to help clean the car from the fallen Snow to the device / book holder by the Side of the bed to the reward System for not requiring housekeeping every day when not strictly necessary and of course the incredibly efficient , professional and friendly members of staff. We absolutely loved it !!! Thank you, Sennerhuette Landhotel! We will certainly be back! :-)

Tastefully decorated and furnished room. So many little details. There was a kettle, which I always appreciate and the towels were thick and soft. At check-in the host explained everything and gave me information of the region. Would definitely go back.

The only improvement is the beds. They are too soft for us. We slept pretty bad and woke up aching for 5 nights.

The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to understand us. We were talking poor German with a lot of English mixed in. But that was no problem! The hotel room is pretty big and has a nice, cosy vibe. It's very clean and the cute thing is: if you don't have your room cleaned for a day, you get 2 wooden coins. With these coins you can get free drinks at the bar. We had never seen that before. The food is good, big portions. The location is cool! Lots of things to see and you'll be walking an insane amount without getting bored.

1) Rooms are too small and too low for tall people. I (<1.9m) always had to walk bent over out of fear of banging my head. I also could hardly turn around in the shower. 2) The breakfast is a bit overpriced imho (in contrast to the prices in the restaurant which are more fairly priced). 3) There are some nearby sights within 1-hour hiking distance, however they are not nearly as spectecular as those what the Elbsandsteingebirge is famous for. We later drove to the Bastei to hike there for the rest of the day and take souvenir shots.

1) Free parking on spacious parking lot on hotel property. (we were even allowed to leave our car there a bit longer after checking out). 2) Very quiet. 3) Hotel-owned restaurant in ground floor (very tasty, plentyful, and fairly-priced). 4) Friendly staff. The owner even explained us where to hike. 5) Half an hour away from world-famous Bastei. 6) Some minor sights within 1-hour walking distance (however they are not as spectecular as those near the Bastei, near Bad-Schandau, or those on the Czech site). 7) Free WIFI with good connection and speed. 8) Small cozy room: my tiny wife liked it. I didn't (see below). 9) Free bottled water.

Beds were so comfortable at first but after a few nights too soft for my partner and I. Not a negative comment, just personal preference

Breakfast was great, buffet style and constantly refilled. Staff was super friendly, beautiful big friendly dog greeted us as well. Dinner by reservation in the restaurant was phenomenal. Large balcony, beautiful warm room, sauna was great. Free drink tokens for turning down room service a very cool feature.

Tough ride to the top of the hill on a bike.

Really liked the room. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, food was superb. Homemade schnapps with dinner. We had appetizers and all the were tasty. Breakfast was also excellent.

Could not cool room and small size made it feel a bit claustrophobic. Overlooked road so open window means some noise. Expensive for what it is.
