How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There weren't great facilities at the hotel (apart from lovely bar) - very limited bar snack menu and nothing else - restaurants, gym, treatments etc. Location was a good compromise for different areas and opposite nice place for breakfast.
The rooms were small and clean and served purpose while the bar was lovely and made the difference to the stay. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

Very stylish room and sophisticated decor in the foyer. Very centrally located, and the nearest subway station is literally a 10 metre walk from the hotel door.

I though the breakfast was overpriced for what it was. It was a good buffet, but still. I would recommend to eat outside as there are plenty of nice cafés not so far.
The hotel was very central and we could walk to most of the center from there. Our room was clean and comfortable albeit a tad small for two people if you stay more than one or two nights. The rooftop was great.

Haven't tried breakfast, it was too expensive. Minimal facilities inside the room - neither water, iron, nor tea pot were available.
Location is very close to central area. Nice shops and restaurants around. The hotel is clean. Bar area is beautiful. Staff were very helpful with transport arrangement.

The bed was a good size and comfortable but there was very little circulation space or space for our luggage in the room.
Staff were super efficient and attentive. Location was very good, close to the areas we were interested in. Wines in the bar were varied and very good.

A beautifully designed and super comfortable hotel in easy reach of the train station. Really comfy bed and great pillows. My room looked out onto a very busy road but the windows completely blocked the noise out. Would definitely recommend

If you need accommodation for casual stay where you dont sped so much time in room and hotel this is a perfect place for you. Location is perfect, metro station si just 2min walk from hotel, there are so many good restaurants around hotel and hotel also has very nice bar for chilling.

Amazing location, super friendly staff, great breakfast We liked absolutely everything about this Hotel. Our rooms were nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The location could not have been any better. Everything in walking distance. The roof terrace was a highlight as we could enjoy after shopping and sightseeing a drink in a relaxed atmosphere and watch the sunset.

I really liked this hotel. Very new, very clean, it was nice to stay here. It is located right in the city center of Hamburg, close to the subway, the main train station and everything is within walking distance.

Staff was not helpful and quite unfriendly. The Hamburg marathon was held during our stay and the staff was not helpful. We had to find out quite some things in terms of parking, the event itself which complicated quite some things of our trip and reception desk was rude. Price is to high for what is offered.

The only con is that the room was a little on the small side.
The Cloud One is a new hotel. Great location to walk around Hambug. Primavera restaurant located across the street was excellent. Nice lounge in lobby area.
