A little expensive buffet breakfast (but, according to our experience, breakfast was expensive in each hotel we stayed in Germany). Not easy to park the car in the hotel garage due to narrow and slopped parking slots.

Excellent position (walking distance to all main attractions. Clean and confortable room. Free and rich mini-bar. Cosy common spaces with many fresh flowers. Very kind staff. Possibility of parking the car under the hotel and reaching the reception directly from the garage.

A reservation for the car parking spot is necessary. Otherwise you may not get it when you arrive at the hotel. But we could not make the parking spot reservation at the time we booked the hotel and didn’t get the response from the hotel for the message sent to the hotel regarding the parking spot registration. We called the hotel and had the reservation done.

The location is very close to the Dutch Quarter. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. The hotel has an underground parking garage with an elevator access for 20 Euro per night.

Liked pretty much everything. Beautiful building located on edge of old town within easy walking distance to Sansouci Palace. Classical interior decor of a high standard. Super comfortable beds. Great bathroom. Nice bar area with adjoining lounges. Lovely outdoor terrace at rear. Excellent selection at breakfast Buffett. Helpful staff. Lots of USB ports in room. Complimentary mini bar. Lalique toiletries.

Nothing that is worth mentioning.

Excellent location for visiting all that's interesting, in Potsdam; a pleasant view from our room at the front of the hotel and the efficient double-glazing blocked any noise from the traffic. Close to recommendable restaurants and shops.. and the trams and buses are easily accessible within a short walk. The hotel is well maintained, tastefully decorated and all areas were kept clean, at all times. Our room was comfortable, again interestingly furnished and the heating/air-conditioning worked well. We appreciated the room safe and the complementary bottled water, replenished every day. Both the breakfast room and the bar area were light and airy...and had it been warm enough in the morning, we certainly would have sat on the delightful garden terrace. Breakfast was not included in our booking and at first, threatened to be rather expensive for us vegetarians who usually only eat fresh fruit and yoghurt to start the day; however, the variety of food available, here, ranks amongst our three top favourites and we were tempted on all five days of our stay. Really impressed to find roasted vegetables, a good selection of fresh fruits, soya yogurts, vegan paté and particularly, an incredible selection of proper, loose-leafed teas, rather than teabags! Service was professional and friendly and displays were replenished regularly. Nevertheless, a hotel stay is all about staff and service and the staff, here, deserve a special mention. From our arrival until our departure, the service was faultless in every area. Every query or request was dealt with immediately and efficiently in the warmest of manners. Special thanks to Stefan, Tony, Marcus, Michael and Katryn for making our stay such an enjoyable one and we look forward to visiting again.

we took a room facing the street, which is ver nice but closed the window in the night as this is a relatively main street. It’s ok for us - but just mentioning it for others to know.

Two issues: we asked twin beds and got a single king size. It was OK though because there were seperate duvets, and that was what was important to us :-) Also, the method of streaming from mobile phone to the TV did not work well. We only got it to work one night after asking for help and it would drop out often.

I should not complain, because it is great place to stay, but next time I would like to have baby chair during a breakfasts and maybe coloring pages for the child ;)

Perfect localisation to visit Potsdam. Beautiful building, very good breakfast. I recommend to cyclists: nearby the circle route, a very nice parking place for bicycles. Quick check in and check out.

The air conditioning could have been cooler. Our room was still too warm at night.

The room service was outstanding. The mini bar was included in the tarriff which was a very nice gesture and the breakfast was sumptuous! But we would like to make special mention of Michael (Bar Manager). Michael's gentle, albeit warm, sincere and engaging manner was a highlight for us. He provided wonderful conversation and some education about non-alcoholic cocktails which we will practice at home.

Parking garage is challenging due to unusual design.
