The image of the property on the site is where you check in. It also has several dining areas for different levels of value. This is the check in for several managed properties! After we checked in, we were escorted to our room (walking) over three blocks away, uphill in the rain. We were fortunate to be there on Sunday so we found a place to park on the same block once we moved our car. Parking here is restricted during the week. Our rooms were in an old farmhouse. It was clean but not the bed type we requested. Apparently all the properties managed by this group share the breakfast area. We had to wait and were seated at a table for two with a third seat added for our group of three.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but crowded. Several eating options on property.

Easy as a pit stop in a trip - close to the motorway. Clean room, nice dinner and good breakfast. Staff welcoming. Pet friendly (note: dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room)

Hadn’t realised the car park was across the road. Long walk with heavy bags. Couldn’t find where to pay in the morning (in the breakfast room!)

Convenient for the motorway. Dinner in the garden was lovely. Access to walks along the river with our dog.

Our beds were comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were great. The staff were very helpful, polite and warm. We wanted somewhere close to the motorway as we were just passing through and this hit the mark but it had the feel of somewhere more cosy and rural especially being located on the river.

It's purely personal, but I like guest rooms, especially in these COVID times, to have tea, coffee and chocolate drinks in bedrooms with a kettle. This then gives choices to guests to mix in the communal areas, or remain in their rooms for a relaxing hot drink. No other concerns regarding the hotel.

The hotel room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was perfect for us and our guests. The breakfast was also very good and plentiful. COVID restrictions were followed to a high standard by staff. The room was clean and tidy and cleaned daily. It's family run I understand which gives the feeling of genuine pleasure to have guests and gives the guests a direct link to owners, which is brilliant. The family meet for breakfast every morning in the breakfast room, which again is giving accessibility to guests.

1. Heating system turns off at night - room and bathroom was very cold, and hot water for shaving and shower took a very long time 2. Room provided was several STREETS away from reception and restaurant 3. Very poor WLAN/WiFi signal

It was hard to find the place. Not obvious from the pictures alone and various navigation apps didn't help either. We ordered a room for two people and asked for a double/twin bed, however, we got one bed and one set of towels, and everything for just one person. We didn't have the energy to resolve the situation, so we only managed to get more towels. It would have been nice if the staff was more attentive and helpful in this regard(Staff had trouble speaking English, so that may have played a role). There was no WiFi in the room.

The breakfast was rather nice. The restaurant staff is nice, we could order food in the evening almost before it closes. The room was quiet.

I don't know if the hotel stuff can do something about it,but our navigation led us to wrong place,to some private yard,wich was even in different street . Local people showed us how to reach real hotel buildings. Hotel it self has few buildings,and in one way closed street, so it would be better to check navigation point.Now it is tricky. Not big problem,but anyway.

The hotel is cosy,clean,has great restaurant,good food,some facilities for kids,staff very nice and friendly,family room with 4 beds not to big,but clean and ok.For short stay really recommend this place,as it is close to highway,has big free parking place,Lidl is in few minutes walk. Breakfast is usual german breakfast-bread,egs, cheese,marmelade,müsli. Nothing fancy,but option if You are leaving to road trip and don't want to search for place to eat in the morning. Thanks for nice stay.
