I had a large suitcase with me and the room is quite compact so only place I could open the case was on the bed. Not ideal if I was staying for any longer than a night. Also the step into the shower wasn’t great. If I’d had a small bag it wouldn’t have been an issue

Takes long time to heat up the shower, heater timing centrally controlled so the room was chilly initially, stairs are very narrow so a bit challenging to lug up the luggages. Room is rather small for two.

Location was really good as it is just a stone throw away from the old town. Water pressure was good and the drying rack in the bathroom was warm enough to dry the towels. Able to park the car close to the hotel for a short while to offload luggages.

The shower needed caulking. If you were in the main area (included one of the bedrooms) you had to go through the other bedroom and kitchen to get to the bathroom. Soap for the shower would have been nice (we bring our own just in case so it wasn't a problem.

The apartment was nice. The layout of the rooms were a bit strange but the place was comfortable and generally well appointed.

Steep stairs!

Absolutely beautiful - a fabulous part of town - right near the Christmas market, with all the ambience. The owner went out of her way to help us find alternative transport the next day when our train was cancelled. Would highly recommend.

We should have stayed longer.

The apartment we stayed in was very comfy with all the amenities needed for a short stay. It was very quiet even if it happended to be in one of the city's busiest places. A defiite recommendation!

At some beds the mattress needs replacement. Since it is located in the old city, parking of the car is either difficult or a cost to consider in case you use the nearby parking garage. In case you have heavy luggages, stairs could be a problem.

It is very central in the old city. It's got a character with the decorative lights. Apartments are clean and spacious for a family of 4.

This was my favorite hotel so far in Germany. It was so well situated to see all the most amazing sites, so much attention was paid to details like interesting lamps and lighting, snacks were provided free of charge, bottles if water, coffee machine that made delicious coffee and herbal tea. The room was spacious and clean and quiet. Will definitely go back when in Bamberg.

As others noted, the building is very close to a really lively street in the centre so it gets quite noisy in the night (at least at weekend). However, with the windows closed (it was not very warm when we were there) it was actually quite ok, much better than I expected based on the reviews :)

Very nice room in a pretty building right in the old centre. There's no lift, but that was not a problem for us. The self checking was very easy. You can park in front of the building while unloading (there are even temporary parking permits in the entrance hall) and then repark at a nearby parking garage. The room is quite spacious, including a dining area, seating area and a space for kettle, coffee machine, mini fridge and some breakfast snacks. The bed is comfortable.

No free parking close by; however, this is a small issue that is far outweighed by the quality of the hotel stay; Little Venezia is my number one choice of hotels in Bamberg

I think the cleaning staff overlooked leaving shower gel

Absolutely central location, although we didn’t meet any staff the communication was very good. Advice on parking was sent by message and the property was spotless.

Reception was not available on check in at 5pm. They just left keys in entrance. Parking is a few blocks away but you can pull up to hotel to unload luggage. There is no lift so you need to walk luggage up stairs.

Location was excellent. Room was clean and had refrigerator. Room was comfortable.
