Could do with a bit more breakfast wise (pastries etc) and expanding the restaurant menu a bit (small bugs not really a problem)

Lovely location and easy parking, the EV charging points worked well. Great room (this time I had a bad experience on my last stay here). Nice staff at the front desk. Lovely swimming pool. I've stayed a few times before and this will remain my 'go to' hotel in the area.

Old building and it had a specific smell typical to those kind of older constructions... it was not super bad or anything.. just a bit unfortunate I suppose!

The sound insulation in this hotel isn't great but in previous stays didn't matter too much, on this stay I was given a room right next to the pool which was very noisy and the light from pool coming on constantly all night through the thin curtains meant I got little sleep. I'm sure if it'd been there for longer this could have been sorted but..............

I've stayed in this hotel a few times and its a good hotel that I'd love to stay in again. The parking is easy and the location is fantastic I've had and have had some of the best runs of my life around the locality - lots of trails and history. The breakfast is decent and the restaurant serves decent food. The hotel is a bit tired but no so as it should effect the average stay. There is a nice pool and fitness area.

We were a bit surprised this was a 4-star hotel to be honest (e.g., travelling from Hotel Koldingfjord earlier). The hotel feels both charming with the many Louis Poulsen lamp, as well as outdated in terms of (room) quality. Sound proofing is really poor, for instance. Both sounds from the hallway can be easily heard inside the room, and well as sounds from balconies several rooms down can still be heard. Acoustic measures would definitely help, and I feel are expected at this price point.

I was told there was a charger for my EV, witch there was but it does not work on my Mercedes EQC but only Tesla's. I found a Clever charger 1 kilometer away on the harbour.

Breakfirst was OK. I would have prefered more ecological through.

After arriving, we had to wait for about fifteen minutes before someone finally came. No greeting, only a cold dismissal with the breakfast times, after which we've been abandoned right away. After coming to our room... Heating did not work. And was -2 outside. We've been to the reception TWICE and the heaters still weren't working, even after leaving them for hours with differently turned knobs. When we wanted to warm ourselves up, we had to go down to the sauna and wrap ourselves up in the covers. The smell of the hotel and the room was horrendous. That terrible smell of dirty, unwashed carpets was present everywhere, a thorough clean would be very nice. Now, you'd expect glass, or ceramic cups, right? Wrong. Two paper cups. In a 4* hotel, we've been given two paper cups... One thing that's also questionable is the lack of option to choose separated beds. I suppose bringing in variety is way too much work. The "terrace" wasn't a terrace, but a balcony that didn't even have a table. There's NO mini-fridge, and we even paid for the better room. We were keeping the food and drinks cold by putting them on the balcony. 😂 The toilet paper was put in some plastic box equivalent to a hostel's. We've been to a hostel in Nykøbing Mors that had 1-2* and it had the same toilet paper holder. Even though room cleaning was daily, they barely touched the room, simply making our beds and throwing the trash out. What about a quick sweep, or a bit of vacuum action? When we came back, there were still a few stands of hair, and when we took a closer look, there was a slight mold in between the bathroom tiles. When we asked about the massage service, the man at the reception wrote down a number and gave it to us to call instead of taking care of the reservation themselves. Um, what? The obvious course of action would be to take care of that yourselves, considering that you advertise the massage option as your own...

Long way between restaurant or reception to our room .

We had a late arrival and we were lucky , that the staff takes a quick reservation at the restaurant. Thank you !! We had an excellent dinner at Montra Hotel restaurant. Best regards to the staff of the kitchen, whitch is doing a great job.
