Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomFor a five star hotel I would expect that for a room for two people there would be two chairs. A second chair was provided on request but it was not as good as the one already in the room.
Breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were both very good. The promixity to the Metro for getting in from the airport was very good and it was only a short walk from the train station.

United StatesThe bed was pretty firm (but sleeping on an extra comforter helped that), and you could hear some noise from the hallways. Room cleaning started while we were sleeping, so use your do not disturb sign.
GREAT location, very central to attractions, and transit. Extremely clean. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom.

Malaysiathe receptionist who check me in to the hotel is not helping. i have booked 3 rooms for 3 nights through booking.com and stated requested for connecting room for my sons. But when i arrived the reception told me that the connecting room is not available and asked me to accept the rooms provided by her. But when i move to the room, my son insists of having connected rooms. so he call the other receptionist himself and managed to get the connected rooms. Alhamdulillah. Thank you

Everything about this hotel is outstanding …. Superb breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, very child friendly, gorgeous rooms (we had corner rooms with fabulous views of the canal). If I am returning to Copenhagen, this is the hotel I will be staying in.

Saudi ArabiaThis hotel was a 10 for me. It's in a very nice location, we could see the Church of our Savior from the window. Nyhavn and other locations relatively near and accessible by foot. Reaching the hotel from the airport is extremely easy and quick. Breakfast was my favorite part, it's really tasty.
