There could be more variety for Breakfast Coffee machine in the room wasn’t working

Not a lot of options in what you can eat for dinner they have a set menu and that’s it so you can’t be picky , and seriously expensive for one course …. was not super clean it was doable the lock was weird to get in the room needs an update

My only quibble is that our single room in the older building was quite warm. Providing a fan or some other ventilation there would be helpful.

The facilities & location are wonderful, especially the “nature suite” cabins. The setting is beautiful & peaceful; we loved the fruit trees everywhere. Breakfast was elaborate, plentiful, and nicely presented.

I can only relate to my own experiance and the price / room (47 in the annex) is a bit outdated and shower not 100% clean. Free coffee in the lobby is excelent, food offer (chefsmenu) very nice. I'm under the impression that the hotel is more focussing on "konference" guests then single travelers.

Not much hotel's in this area, and due to the fact that this hotel is in the countyside it was perfect that the restaurant facilities where open during this Covid-19 period.

I waited quite some time to write this review, as I wanted the Manger to have ample time to write me about what happened during my stay, as well as time for me to write this review with a more calm head. I must say that when I arrived, I was very impressed with the facility, although it is truly in the middle of nowhere. It is very nice looking and my first impression was a nice place. I checked in with no problems and made my way to one of the rooms in the redone farmhouse. Again, at first, it seemed great with a common kitchen and living room. I had a nice bedroom and bathroom. When I started to unpack, this is where it started to go wrong. As I put my clothes in the closet, I thought I noticed mouse 🐁 feces. Uh oh. I did a check around the room, but nothing else... until I went to bed. Luckily I pulled back the sheets with the light on - there was a large urine stain on my sheets. I then moved to two single beds apart, and that is when the mouse and his nest fell to the floor. I spent a bit chasing it around the room and then realized this is not my responsibility hahaha. I packed up my stuff and went to the front desk, but not before getting the employee to open up the front door - had to call the hotel as he did not hear the knocking. When I told him of the mouse, he simply gave me a key to a room in the main hotel building - no apology and almost seemed annoyed that I wanted a new room - what?!? Later that night, I realized that I forgot something and went to the main desk - couldn't find him anywhere, but saw a note to the manager about me. The next day I expected a note or a visit by the manager - nothing. Check out - nothing. This place may have a great breakfast, restaurant area, and meeting facilities, but DO NOT go out of your way to stay here. The place is in a farming area and it has mice - makes sense. Just do a thorough clean up and check of you facilities BEFORE you have someone stay there..As you can imagine, I will not be there again.

They offered a very nice breakfast. There were several common rooms and areas for holding meetings - very impressive for these types of events.

Hotel did not mention restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. Cabin accommodation not what we expected and not worth the price.

Very clean and tidy room with lovely spa bodywash/shampoo and conditioner etc ... didn't want to leave the bathroom !! Breakfast was lovely and unlimited coffee from a machine throughout your stay in reception. Easy to find. Very helpful staff when we had an issue with the motorbike. Couldn't fault our stay

An absolute pleasure to stay at the Vilcon Hotel and Conference Centre, which is set in a picturesque countryside location. The vegetables for the dinner are from their own garden. They even have chickens so for breakfast we are eating their eggs.  My room was large, light, airy and very nicely decorated. The staff were delightful, especially Michael who gave me exceptional service.

Aloof staff (the Scandinavian attitude perhaps?...). Check-in was unfriendly. The assigned block of rooms was a bit of walk from reception area, not well explained at check-in. The area leading to the room was not clean. Curtains were not opaque to block the summer sunlight at night......which led to sleeping problems. This is an easy-to-fix problem....!

Breakfast was poor. Large Tealights used not spirit burners so the bacon and eggs were cold. Breadboard and Carving Knife but no bread. When I asked in the kitchen I was told there was no bread - but then it appeared. Three dark coloured jams with no labels to say what they were. Only pastries were mini croissants topped with almonds, hard luck if you had a nut allergy. Nobody around to ask about gluten free or allergies. Room was in a cabin 150m from the main building and 75m from the nearest place to park the car. We had obviously upset them as we arrived 20:10 and had been called at 19:50 to ask if we were coming. We had to walk past all the unoccupied cabins to the last one. Must have been a punishment for arriving late. There was a mini bar which included a bottle of wine - but only one glass from which to drink it. The only lights in the room was over the "desk" - a very modern affair, being a piece of wood around 25cm across and two over the bed. If you wanted to read in the chairs, better have good eyesight. If one of you wanted to go to sleep earlier, then either there was no light, or you tried to go to sleep under the light. The only light switch was by the door. So after turning the lights out, one of you had to make your way to the other side of the room in pitch dark to the bed. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. At 20:10 the restaurant was all in the dark. And we never found the bar, unless that was the trolley with lots of bottles of spirits and glasses in a display. It was a good decision to eat before we arrived and hence why were did not arrive until 20:10. And don't trust the Danish Road sign. when you leave the main road (#22) it is 1,7km to the hotel not 1Km And finally, we did appreciate the items provided in the room as described in the room brochure. The soap, the towels, the mini bar, but it is the first time we have ever seen Toilet Paper being listed under the things supplied in a room.

Not much - except it was very quiet and so far away from civilisation our car was in no danger of being stolen, vandalised etc.

It would have been nice if they had, had some sort of food to eat in the evening as the location is rather remote ( but very nice)

We found it on Booking.com an hour before arriving, we had been driving all day from Holland enroute to Sweden. The check in was easy and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.
