The guests next door had brought a dog, which they seemed unwilling or unable to keep quiet during the night. This was obviously not the fault of the hotel and simply bad luck on my part.

This place exceeded my expectations. On my previous trip to Quito, when I wanted somewhere near the airport, I booked somewhere else. It was as nice as Colibri - but cost twice as much. Colibri seemed like an excellent place to be if you are looking for somewhere close to the airport.

You're close to the airport, so it's only natural that once in a while you'll hear the loud roar of an airplane engine—but they didn't come by as frequently as I'd have thought, and the sleeping hours were quiet. During the day, it was pretty cool to watch the planes flying overhead.

Very convenient to the airport, and you can arrange shuttle/taxi service to and from the airport through the hotel for $10 each way. They were very responsive through booking.com messaging and are so friendly in person. The included breakfast is excellent, and you can also have dinner at a reasonable additional cost—just let them know at breakfast if you'll want dinner that night. I loved my little room! Very cozy, and WiFi worked well. The property is lovely to spend time on. It's warmer here than in the actual city of Quito, so the pool is a nice perk, and they have a quiet, peaceful gazebo that was pleasant to sit and read and journal in. There's a sweet little pond near the main building with interesting-looking ducks. A step outside of the property takes you to nice views of a deep gorge cut by a river. This is a family-run business, and it was so nice to get to meet all of them—including the cat! Not everyone there speaks English, so if you don't know Spanish well, be prepared with Google Translate or similar. I look forward to staying at Hosteria Colibri Aeropuerto again in the future.

We love the place, delicious breakfast and dinner, everyone was very kind and helpful and make us feel like at home. Also short walk to village park with small grocery, coffee etc. We appriciate the transfer from the airport as well.

Quaint family run hotel very convenient for the airport. Out in the country but a few shops and restaurants about 15-20 min walk away. My bed was super comfy and warm!!! They also offer 24 hour airport transfers.

Went out of their way to make us a packed breakfast as we had to leave at 4am to catch our flight. Sorted shuttle to airport for us. Lovely room, loved the private hot tub right outside.

The staff were all very accomodating. There was a large group of about 20 people there and the staff made time for us to use the hot tub too and heated it up just for us. However, the pool and hot tub are right outside the mixed dorm so if you want a quiet night you better book a private room. Overall happy with everything.

Fabulous place... the suite with my own lil pool was great. Staff were super attentive to a few extra needs, Shuttle to airport is them so had no worries on my 3:30 am pick up.

I’m not sure if the swimming pool is available or not really!

I really liked this place, it’s within east reach of the airport yet feels like your in the countryside. It is very peaceful other than the occasional plane going past. The staff were absolutely lovely and breakfast was yummy. Would 100% recommend!

Sound travels between the rooms extremely easily so if your neighbor is talking or has the tv on it sounds like they’re in your bathroom.

Surrounded by barking dogs and roosters. So close to the airport that incoming flights sounded like they were landing in my bed. Bright light outside my room and the pull down shade was made of cheesecloth or something.

It was cheap. That's it. The only good thing.

No hot shower (cold), no insonorisation in the room (can hearing the persons next door talking and tv really clearly), matelas of the bed not confortable, have to pay an unexpected 5$ more because of an error during booking, and 8$ more for laundry.

- It said "daily housekeeping". I stayed there 4 nights and my room didn't get cleaned once. - It mentioned "restaurant" but there was no restaurant. - No curtains for the windows. So everyone could see into your room. - I asked for airport shuttle but it took over a day to respond. I just took an Uber as it sounded more reliable to me. And the price was the Aamer ($10).

The place is in the agricultural area, surrounded by nature, a lot of cats and dogs and some cows (babies). The pool and the whirlpool are really nice. The food is fresh and really good, cooked by someone from the family of owners. Highly recommended.

was very comfy and clean the family who run the place are so lovely and help full they let us stay later till our flight was due which was very kind of them, was nice to have a few hours extra in the tub and sat in the hammock watching the humming birds, they arranged a driver to take us and pick us up from the airport, can not fault it at all,
