Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Isle of ManI booked here as it said it had a bar together with the amazing views. Along with many others I made the mistake of thinking bar meant alcohol. There is NO alcohol available. The restaurant food was not great and no local dishes available sadly. My main meal was cold and I was under pressure to leave a review there and then with the emphasis on that they read all reviews. Staff were really nice though and the view is fantastic.
Perfect location for pyramids and sphinx. They’ll arrange anything for you and the weak willed will struggle against sales process. The room is such good value that the main money must be from tours.

United KingdomThe staff is very professional, warm welcome, and attentive to customers, from the manager to the cleaners. Best hotel to stay while visiting Giza pyramid, you can't be this location. They give you a lot of water in your room, breakfast food is fresh, good option for lunch and dinner, 2 roof tops available. The cleaness is spot on.

GreeceWe booked a the Standard apartment with a window and I must say the view from the window was not what we expected. It was basically a window that no-one would ever open because it was discusting outside (I have attached a photo of what we saw when we opened the window) so the downside was that there was no fresh air in the room.
The hotel location was absolutely fantastic. It is located just outside the Pyramid entrance. The view from the rooftop restaurant was out of this world I have attached a photo of the view from the rooftop. The room was comfortable for 1 or 2 nights but because there was no way to get fresh air inside the room even though there was a window, the air in the room was stale. The food at the restaurant was good enough and the staff were friendly. The airport pickup was VERY convenient.

United KingdomWe were upgraded to a junior suite for 2 nights which was wonderful!!! We got to spend time in a private jacuzzi overlooking the pyramids. The view from the rooftop restaurant is spectacular and means to get a free sound and light show if you happen to stay from Wednesday- Saturday. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The WiFi broke a few times but this was fixed instantly for us. No request was too much! We even had help booking a private tour of the pyramids during our stay which was excellent. Our guide gave us so much information and history and let us take our time exploring the sites. He even took photos for us and bargained a cheaper deal for camel rides for us too! Overall excellent stay, would recommend to all.

RussiaThe area around the hotel is not good… this place is one of the best buildings in the whole neighbourhood. I wasn’t in the mood to walk around there.
Overall it’s a quality hotel with good facilities. The view of the pyramids is amazing! Food in the restaurant is great as well.

PortugalThe room needed a bit of attention to maintenance - there was a very small fissure besides my window, but enough to let noise in, and one of the doors on the tub was loose and frail. Otherwise, I absolutely loved my experience in this spot.
Excellent service, Aladdin contacted me from the start and was very patient and attentive with me from day 1 to the day of departure. Salah saved me when I couldn't find a SIM and accompanied me all the way to a store where they sold me a card for an excellent price - otherwise, I'd have gone to a tourism store and paid twice as much. Finally, Alibaba drove me from the hotel to the airport and was attentive enough to check for my comfort, drive me along the scenic view to the Citadel of Saladin and dropped me off as close as possible to my terminal. The staff in general were respectful, kind and polite, but these three deserve a shout-out. The restaurant had excellent food, fair prices, the breakfast was great and the service was top notch. Try their natural juices - pulp, pure, made on the spot, no added nonsense like most of us have back home, and only about 3 dollars. Inside, the hotel is very rich on ancient Egyptian aesthetics, making it feel like you're in a palace. Definitely recommend.
