A beautiful little apartment with a very cosy atmosphere. Wonderful bed and nice little kitchen. Its pissible to cook there or just make a coffee. Has a terrasse with nice furniture. The apartment is a comfortable place to feel at home. Very near to the nile and all the cafes and restaurant. The apartment is very good, because its quiet and good to slept. I highly recommand this apartment.

Pros: - SUPERB host, he felt like a father to me :) - You get an entire house, all to yourself! - Nubian style of decoration, very warm and colourful - A big mirror in the hall, great to check our outfits before we leave the place - Spacious, clean bathroom! - Big bed! - Imagine waking up in the morning, and as you open the main door, you hear birds chirping, while savouring the lush gardens. Plenty of sundecks too - Big pink sofas! If you have more than 2 pax, they are comfy to sleep on

It's a little gem on the west bank of the Nike River. Mohammed is a very friendly and professional host who will give you excellent suggestions what to see and do in Luxor. The accommodation itself is a small apartment in the Nubian style with a great terrace. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay - Mohammed was incredibly kind and helpful and the Villa Diletta was exactly what we wanted (no frills, lovely terrace, on the West Bank). Would definitely recommend!

It’s not a dislike, just extra information .. the taxi driver that drove me from Aswan was not local to Luxor so had trouble finding Villa Diletta .. I don’t speak Arabic so am unsure what the locals were telling the driver, however it’s a short street so once on the street it is easy to locate the property …

The apartment had everything in it, a comfortable bedroom, a kitchen with everything provided to make breakfast or a meal and a beautiful balcony with loungers 😀. Mohamed arranged the best Balloon Flight … everything went very smoothly on that morning and it was a fabulous experience to see Luxor from the sky .. Khalid, the driver for Temple visits and Airport transfer, was very easy to travel with and allowed me plenty of time at each site … he even ensured I had some Egyptian pounds for the Airport trolley drivers … something I hadn’t thought of as I was about to hand the last of my pounds to Khalid 😀to thank him for the driving .. Ibrahim cooked the tastiest Egyptian BBQ chicken for dinner, and it went beautifully with the salad, beet, babbaganoush and pita breads (that I believe his Mum cooked 😀) … followed by Egyptian black tea on the banks of the beautiful Nile … it was a lovely evening experiencing all things Egyptian 💕🙏

The only minor downside is potentially the location. While being on the West bank is convenient if you're visiting the Valley of the Kings/ Queens, the East bank has all the major transportation hubs, like the bus and train station as well as most of the good places to eat. This of course can be a matter of preference, and it is relatively easy to get boats to cross back and forth at most times of the day.

Overall the stay was great and I would recommend this place to people looking for a place to themselves on the West bank. Mohammed was great with the communication throughout the entire stay. He helped to arrange for a pick up for us when we reached Luxor, and a boat transfer to the West bank, which is the quickest way to get across. He was available on short notice when we had any questions, and had good suggestions and contacts for sightseeing in Luxor, though we had already booked most of our activities. The property itself is as described in the pictures. It's a quaint little house with a small front garden that has everything youd'd expect in a home. The place was clean, the A/C and Wifi worked well. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well.

If the lights in the room can be a little brighter, there is no problem. There are dim lights, but there is no problem because I only sleep at night. People who do some work need light.

As there are many good comments about the host Mohamed, it was a really wonderful host. First of all, we have to evaluate Mohammed. In most cases, when I stay in a hotel in Egypt, I try to force them to buy a lot of tours, but Mohamed was not like that. They will provide it only if you consult me when I need it. We will also arrange all the taxis and boats to move to the destination and return to the inn. And I was able to trust him because he offered me a reasonable price. There was absolutely no push selling. Because he is a strict person, I was able to trust his colleagues. Some drivers tried to connect to the business, but if there is anything, if you consult with Mohamed, there will be no problem. His wife is Italian, so he may understand different cultures. It wasn't very Egyptian. He's the type of person that is also favoured by Japanese people. The room I stayed in also had a balcony, so I could sit on a bench and spend a relaxing time while looking at the plants in the courtyard. I'm grateful to him for having a comfortable stay. If you want to take the ferry, just know that you have to turn away a loooot of boat owners who try to convince you in a for us uncomfortable, hassling way. But that's everywhere you go in Egypt. Just stay aware that most things are in walking distance :)

We booked the Blue apartment and it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The balcony is amazing and has cute lights that make it very comfortable. The house was clean, the aircon was working and the kitchen had everything one needs to cook. Mohammed was an amazing host who was very helpful and made our stay very easy. While others try to rip you off everywhere you go he offered us his services. In the same sentence he also told us where we can go to take the cheapest boat that the locaks here also take. So if you want to book a taxi/boat it's save to ask him. We also saf ed a lot of money on out hot air ballon trip with his help. Very close to the apartment is a small 'supermaket' (hamada market)' with very friendly stuff where you can buy a lot of things. The apartment is also in an alley and i traveld alone with my sister, and he and the location made us feel very save. The key for the frontgate is exclusive for you and the other apartment.

Mohamed is a great host, super helpful arranging transport and offering advice about what to see etc. The villa is lovely, super spacious and comfortable - amazing value for money. Wifi works perfectly. A few metres from the riverbank, easy to take a boat over to the east side.

Big apartment with everything you need. Big kitchen, bathroom, airco in sleeping room (you need it in summer!) very nice garden with beautiful trees. Great location on the Westbank near shop and simple restaurants directly on the Nile. Very friendly and caring hosts.
