Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomRestaurant is like a canteen with no windows and bright lights. Buffet dinner was poor quality and limited. The music by the pool( electronic??) was very annoying and too loud...no one liked it
Good location for Alhambra. Nice to have a pool after a hot day. Breakfast is available on different menu prices for those that don't want a cooked breakfast. Staff exceptionally helpfull

SpainI was looking forward to sitting outside on the upper floor to eat & see the views but it wasn’t in season to open which I hadn’t noticed in their advertising (we went 2/3rd September). Rooms could be improved with some sound proofing - we could here the toilet flushing quite loudly, amongst other noises.
Ideally situated to see the Alhambra- just across the road. Parking opposite too (hotel’s car park was full). Reception staff were very helpful (spoke good English) as was the dining room staff. Nice terrace on front to relax and have a drink and the pool was still open too! Easy access to the rooms which were sizeable and clean. Excellent shower too.

AustraliaNot really a problem with the hotel but after getting taxi from the town centre we realised the local C35 bus runs right by the hotel. No real info forthcoming from the staff at the desk and no recommendations either.
The proximity to The Alhambra. Pool is lovely, if a little cold! Rooms big and tidy and clean.

United KingdomMy only criticism was the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room.
The location is fantastic for easy access to the Alhambra - literally a 4 minute walk. The staff were very helpful and efficient and parking the car on site was a bonus. The pool area was lovely and has a reasonably priced bar shack. The breakfast was good also with both cold and hot food available.

NetherlandsThere was a bbq which lasted till 2am in the night. And after that they started moving chairs which keeps everyone on the floor below awake! guess we got unlucky?
We visited with two kids and the staff of the restaurant on ground floor were really helpful and even made some custom meal for our kids. Great swimming pool to cool down Gated private parking Good breakfast with a nice selection. And super close to Alhambra, its even behind the parking entrance of the alhambra.

Perui loved everything.
Location is impeccable, right across the touristic attraction, and surrounded by lush green fields. Could not have asked for a better location. It was a taxi-ride away from downtown, but we did not mind that.

Great location near Alhambra, old town is accesible by foot via park downhill. Relatively big pool (till 1.70m deep). It has parking lot for extra price, but you can't make reservation. Nice personel.

If you want to visit Alhambra in Granada, Porcel Alixares is the best choice. Great location, the main entrance of the Alhambra is approx 5 minutes walk away. Friendly and helpful staff solved what we requested. Parking was ensured in the garage of the hotel, which was the second criteria of booking.

SpainParking. Very expensive. Very difficult.
A lovely hotel with many excellent facilities. The room was perfect with a terrific view. The food was exceptional with many high quality choices in the buffet although for a hotel with so many English guests the breakfast was not wonderful . The parking cost came as a shock but all else was well up to standard. It's on top of a mountain though so walking is nearly impossible but there is a small pool . There is no supervision at the pool however and the no diving signs are ignored by the more moronic guests which is very annoying in such a small pool. The staff are exceptional and so friendly and accommodating. A lovely visit.
