We were expecting breakfast to be available as the hotel had a restaurant but this was not the case. There were no tea and coffee making facilities, but these weren’t mentioned in the description. It was disappointing in this respect as we didn’t want to have to go out for a hot drink or breakfast.

The main asset of this property is the location. It is just 4 minutes away from the metro station Xativia that takes you to the airport. The main square is around the corner and all attractions are within walking distance. On top of all this the hotel is very clean, modern interior and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Location was great to explore the city centre and close to the train station. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The room was quite basic and old but was ideal for exploring the city, as I did not spend too much time there.

The removable Shower head bracket was broken in bathroom.Making it awkward to shower. Only one key per room.

The walls were a bit thin, we could hear the guests in neighbouring rooms at some points (eg when they had the TV on).

Hotel Alkazar is in a fabulous location, right in the heart of the downtown, nearby both the old town and the main train station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Despite being in the downtown, we didn't find it noisy, and they had thick block-out curtains to handle the street lighting.

Extremely uncomfortable mattress and pillows. Also there was a sort of "safety light" in the room, which remained on when you turned off the main light, right above the bed. It's very annoying as there's nothing you can do to turn it off. Thus even though it is very quiet, you may have a hard time falling asleep, unless you don't have an issue with light. Late check-in at 3:00. Even though everything else was clean, I can't say the same about the floor.

Very quiet and clean hotel in the city center with accommodating personnel. Situated on a pedestrian street without bars, there was no noise even on a Saturday night. The room was very spacious. It had a double bed in the bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a large shower box. The hotel has an elevator. Less than 5 minutes walk from the metro and the central train station. There is also a 24/7 grocery store nearby. All the main attractions of Valencia, except the City of Arts and Sciences are within walking distance. For the aforementioned you can use the bus which is not an issue because the area is served by the main bus and tram lines.Also is very convenient to use the metro to get to the hotel from the airport and vice versa. Late check out at 12:00. Even though the check-in is late, you can leave your luggage there in advance and also after check-out. The linen, towels and bathroom were very clean and they made up the room every morning.

A good place to set suitcases. I didn’t want to set mine on the white bed covering. Our air conditioner was a bit noisy but cooled well.

Location was close to a lot of things. We enjoyed walking so we’re able to get away from some of the crowds. Our bed was comfortable. We slept well. Metro was not far. Rooms a little small, bathroom pretty nice. Staff very nice. Spoke English also.

The receptionist didn't speak English, but she asked other staff to translate. No fridge in the room, I would like to have it.

Everything was great.

The room was very quiet. The hotel is located very close to the city centre: easy to get to the sights and restaurants. However, what I liked the most was the attitude of the staff: friendly, nice, and helpful.

Their was nothing I did not like about the property. Perfect for a solo traveller.

The location was perfect, close to the railway station and central. It is in a quiet street but great access to restaurants.
