Ideally located for an overnight stay before travelling to Bilbao for the ferry. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I was made very welcome (and so was my dog).

A little off the beaten track so not many facilities around 1 bar open breakfast was limited not replaced once others had eaten no option to have decaffeinated coffee

Friendly staff the room was a good size and comfortable. We could park the car in the property ground but not sure that would be the case in summer as it seemed to be an outside patio clear because it was winter. The hotel was good for an overnight stop. Great location for walking holidays

No restaurants in the village but we bring our own evening meal and use the kitchen.

Allowed our dog to stay. The property is in a great location if you are travelling to Santander or southern Spain. We drove from the UK to southern Spain and it’s on our route so we have stopped here a few times now.

Excellent value. We only booked half an hr before arriving but everything was ready and fine. Village very quiet but was out of season. Would love to visit in summer. Local bar was lovely had a good atmosphere and very reasonable prices for drinks. I also liked that there was English tea available for breakfast. Host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again. Excellent value with breakfast included.

A lovely house to stay, very traditional, clean, comfortable and warm (as it was cold outside ). Our communications with the property were excellent, questions asked being answered promptly. The owner was able to provide a secure place for our bicycles overnight which was great. Facilities provided included a kitchen we could use and this was where the very good continental breakfast was served. There is also private parking available behind the Casa. Very handy stop on way to Brittany Ferries at Bilboa or Santander as being about 5mins off the motorway. I think it would be a good place to stay longer to explore the beautiful surroundings with a close by rail station for possible sightseeing trips into Bilboa.

Unfortunately the bar in the village wasn’t serving food and we were directed to a campsite a five minute drive away which was difficult to find in the dark. I would recommend having a late lunch somewhere and bring sandwiches to eat at the B&B.

Very easy to find and just off the AP68. Ideal for a night stop on the way to the ferry. The owner was very helpful and welcoming and speaks several languages. Very clean and warm in the cold weather. Breakfast was continental and plentiful and the local almond tart was delicious. The bed was very comfortable with a nice soft pillow.

The breakfast was a bit, I would say, compact. Would be good to have some more variety of choice. Despite that all was great.

Generally, the stay was good. The room was clean and comfy, had all that you need. The host was very pleasant and welcoming, provided some information about nearby bar and restaurants.

There was nothing not to like.

It’s ideally located very close to the road for those on a road trip. Clean and simple room, everything very clean and tidy, and the host went out of his way to be nice — there were even Basque sweet pies for breakfast, which were a delight. Plus it’s very close to Vitoria, the historic capital of the Basque Country, which we wouldn’t have visited otherwise.

Nothing I didn’t like, perfunctory for my needs.

It was exactly what I needed for a quick stop over on route to Santander. Just off the main access roads easy to find. Private secure parking for my bike and at reasonable cost. Facilities perfectly adequate.
