How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The day we were to leave and go to the airport, we had to leave at 6 am in the morning. After we had locked the door of our room, it became pitch black outside the room going to the elevator. We had to use our phone’s flashlight to use the elevator as it was pitch dark. We had to walk through a dark corridor to reach the front door. It was good that I ordered a taxi to pick us up and it was there outside the door. The company should do something about this.
The apartment is big compared to others. Going in and out is easy. The picture is what it is.

If you were staying for longer and wanted to eat in cooking facilities were limited. Having said that it was very reasonable to eat out and some lovely places around the area

We arrived early to the apartment and in no time the apartment was ready. Unfortunately we just stayed for one night, but the time while we were there, everything was perfect. Extremely clean, fully equipped, comfortable bed, etc

Slippery shower floors
The apartment was centrally located and is walking distance to downtown Granada. There was a playground near it, close to grocery stores and bus stops. We only took the bus once to Alhambra and walked around the entire time. Apartment was spacious, clean, and looked exactly like the photos. Management was very friendly and provided maps with suggestions on where to go for the best flamenco shows.

The location was great. Very convenient to walk to different sites and only 10min from the Plaza Nueva. The facilities were really nice so we had everything we needed if we wanted to eat in. The communication was excellent and they promptly answered any questions I had before my arrival. As we only need a code to the doors we didn't have any issues with our later arrival.

Very friendly service and everything was straightforward. Good location in nice neighbourhood, easy to walk everywhere. Great wifi for working. Good shower. Plenty of space.

The floor wasn't clean enough 😅. We had a small baby, who was crawling and the baby had dirty clothes and socks 😅apart that everything was great...
The recepcionist is very helpful and super kind. The localization is very good (very close to Alhambra /Albacin bus station). The apartment is good equipped (a microwave, a wash machine). There is a lift, which is also very practic.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious.lovely location just 5/7min stroll to city centre. Bus to the Alhambra is at the top of the road. Quiet at night and beds very comfortable.

First of all, very friendly and helpful receptionist! Next morning we were able to leave our luggages in the hotel which has the same owner near Albaicin. And it was a proposal by receptionist (with the detailed instructions how to get there)! Furthermore, apartments have all equipments (e.g. washing machine and air conditioning system) that You need even for a longer stay. Finally, it has a common terace (for all apartments in the building) where You can enjoy Your morning coffee or something else :)

Some minor maintenance issues-- toaster handle was broken, light over stovetop didn't work... But none affected my enjoyment staying here.
Great location for walking around the city centre. Comfortable, quiet apartment with a kitchen. Restaurants and groceries nearby. The staff were helpful and I felt safe in the property and the neighbourhood.

Written directions (English) for washing machine and AC would be helpful. Reception was only available 9-2.
Loved the space of the apartment and the washing machine and fridge. Location was good and property was very clean.

There is no free parking nearby.
Convenient location, close to Alhambra complex and to the historical centre as well. Easy to find. Quiet small street. All necessary amenities, newly renovated and furnished. Reception open all day.
