How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

This is a great apartment, close to everything including the metro. It is excellent value for money. Place was clean and remarkable. The communication with Apartments Sata Sagrada Familia was easy and fast. We would recommend.

Very sparse room. Very clinical feel. Only one small couch. Dining table and chairs very small. Glassware inadequate and no soaps or shower gells. Unlike everywhere else I have been even during Covid. Only AirCon in Main room which meant that doors needed to be open. So not conducive to privacy. Hob but no oven.

We could leave a luggage for the time before our flight for free, which was great. Friendly staff and spacious apartament. Great localisation with Sagrada Familia and metro neraby. Overall great :)

The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures. It is located close to Joanic metro station (approximately 8 minutes walk) and Sagdrada Familia 10 minutes.

The kitchen is very basicaly equiped. The bathroom is spacious but the sink and the dushcabin taps are ridiculously installed! You could hardly wash your hands on the bathroom sink and the dush tap is easy to be moved unvolurantily while using it and get burned with hot water! So, be careful, especially if you have kids! It is difficult and expensive with the parking in the area, and in all of Barcelona in fact. But there is still a parking availability at reasonable price very close to the apartment - check the 1,3,5, 7 day passes at Marina Gràcia Parking (B:SM).
The check in process is very simple and straightforward. Location is brilliant as this area is very authentic, with plenty of shops and eating options, safe and not far from the city centre. The apartment is spacious with a living room, separate kitchen and two separate bedrooms, albeit one of them is really small. The air conditioning is quite effective.

The apartment was conveniently located in a quiet street, close to La Sagrada Familia and to a tube station. It was big enough for a family of four. Laura was very helpful and communicative.

there was only comfortable seating for 2 not 4 - there was a 2 seater sofa and a wooden chair.
Lovely apartment. Clean and well furnished with air conditioning and laundry facilities. Metro, bus stop, shops and restaurants were a short walk away, as was the Sagrada Familia.

Nothing. Things are as described and all facilities are there.
Location is great. Room is very cleaned. The staff is excellent. They are on site and also very responsive outside office hour. And they are truly friendly and hospitable. We had a miserable apartment stay in other places before here and the difference of staff made us realize how important it is when emergency happened. Special thank you to staff Laura. We will come back because of the staff here.

The amenities are very old and not working properly, e.g. AC. In the appartment it smells as mold because of the AC I believe.
The neighbourhood was very quiet. The appartment is close to very good stores.

So, although certain things were provided (kitchen roll, toilet roll), I feel that soap is a basic thing to provide (washing up soap, bath soap) as that would have been very helpful. A big thing that I was NOT made aware of beforehand is that hot water is only available for 30 minutes and after that you would have to wait another 30-45 minutes for it to be hot again. This was not practical as there were 4 GUESTS so we had to ration the hot water haha. Nevertheless, it’s a decent place.
First things first, the host was absolutely lovely! She took care of my extra requests and provided transfer from the airport to the accommodation. The area of the apartment looked dodgy, but was actually very nice and it was very easy to get around. the apartment itself was reasonably clean. I would stay here again.
